“The hearth of the old town”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

>A very vivid place wehere everything is different than in other towns including street vendors. Near Paseo de los Tristes and on the bridge over Darro you can actually come across people who sell poetry and stories and dogs who sing with their masters. Genuine Granada.

“don't miss the walk”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

don't miss the walk along the Darro river. Start there early in the morning as most indoor places open late in the city.

“An Interesting Walk”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

When one starts at Plaza Nueva, one can walk along the river bank, which is the Carrera del Darro. One can see the river and above one can see the walls of the Alhambra. The street is very narrow and when there is traffic, one has to be careful not to be run down by the traffic. The Plaza de los Tristes has many outdoor cafeterias where one can sit down and have refreshment and enjoy the views. There are also many interesting stores.

“Charming walk”
Reviewed 1 April 2014 via mobile

Walking along the Darro is a great way to get a feel for the city. I would recommend doing it early on in your visit to get an idea of the flavor of Granada.
