There is a nice atmosphere in the small square in front of the church. The best part is the view of Alhambra and the mountains at the back. The thought "how this place must have looked years back" makes you admire Alhambra more and more.

The climb from the main street of Granada is worth it….its steppe and cobblestoned which harks back to another century but the view at the top from the square is worth it….but beware when i was there i saw 3 pickpockets in action making the most of the tourists occupied with the view across the valley so keep an eye on your belongings….and pay the 2e to climb to the top of St Nicholas Church!!

We enjoyed the place during a whole evening. The people around are very relaxed. The view on the Alhambra on the next hill is spectacular.

Delightful small plaza for views, drinks, restaurants, flamenco guitarists, local artisans, tourists. Accessible by uphill walk on skinny stone streets, bus #31, and taxi from city center.

The plaza is very popular with tourists. This attracts artists but also thiefs. The scenery over the city is amazing. Walk up and later down through the small streepte with cobble stones of the Albacin.
