“so comfortable”
Reviewed 6 July 2013

we stayed over Easter weekend, the staff were helpful, very modern great bar- dress up for it, the fashionable young are in there on a Saturday night, the wine is great, had a lovely tapas of morcilla in light tempura type batter on lollipop sticks with a lovely salsa.
The bed was so comfortable, beautiful large bathroom. nice airy area to sit & read & have drinks- just ring the bell, and a waiter comes up for your order- and such reasonable prices
great location, we also went into the bar nextdoor, great atmosphere, also round the corner one of the oldest wine bars in Granada

On our recent trip to southern Spain we stayed 2 nights in Granada at Hotel Parraga Siete. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area near excellent big city shopping and close to many of many of the city's tourist attractions. Since we were driving another very big plus was the secure parking, less than a block away.

Aside from the location, we thoroughly enjoyed the decor and ambiance of the hotel. I'm not always a fan of modern, but whoever restored and refurbished this building did a classy job- lots of white, light colored wood, updated bathrooms, classy light fixtures, and a mural behind the bed that looked like a charcoal rendering of a rural church on a hill. We also enjoyed the indoor patio and the compementary iced tea and fruit in the reception area.

When you're in a big city its really nice to have a quiet place you can go to relax, like Hotel Parraga Siete. (I would have given them a rating of 5 except they don't serve a complimentary breakfast.)

Very modern makeover of old building in the heart of Granada. Lots of wood finishes, smart bathroom. All modern technical add ons. Very competent front desk lady, Alex who provided us with very good advice about where to go and eat in Granada. Granada has an excellent public transport system with small buses running from the main square a short walk away to all the main tourist points.
Only gripe - breakfast is a low point. Minimal would be an overstatement. There is no real alternative in Granada as the city is slow to wake in the mornings. I have made suggestions to the management about how they might improve especially in the provision of that vital British need, tea - the drink, that is. Hope the have listened and take appropriate action.
In summary good value, great location, breakfast poor. Getting there by car is tricky but head for Parking Victoria at top of Recogidas and hotel is 100 mtrs from there.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend at the end of May and had a fantastic stay! For the quality of the service and the clean and modern facilities this hotel is very reasonably priced and highly recommended.
The Location
Firstly, the central location of Parraga Siete is perfect for those who wish to visit Granada and explore the city. It is situated on a sidestreet off the main shopping street Calle Recogidas and a perfect hub to get to the shops, sites and restaurants.
Check-in
Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by the lovely receptionist who spoke perfect English but was happy to indulge me in my attempts to speak Spanish. We also helped ourselves to some complimentary ice tea which was really refreshing and just what we needed after our journey. The receptionist had prepared all paperwork for our arrival which meant checking in was quick and was. We were also provided with a map of the city and the Wi-Fi password to the hotel internet.
The Room
We stayed in a double deluxe room on the first floor. Our room was clean and spacious with a double balcony in both the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and sheets were changed every day. The bathroom had a large power-shower and complimentary toiletries. The only criticism I could give the room was that there was no safe, hairdryer or iron.
The Staff
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The receptionist was kind enough to help us navigate tapas bars on the map which we had found on Tripadvisor. She helped us book coach tickets to the airport for our return trip and even printed out our boarding cards for the flight. The chambermaid was very flexible and when we slept in, was happy to return to the room later than usual to make up our room once we had left the hotel for the day. The night porter was kind and friendly, although he did not speak English, he was able to call us a taxi for our departure to take us to the bus station.
Food
We did not have breakfast here or eat at the restaurant as we knew Granada was famous for its tapas and so always ate out. Places to try would be: Poe (brazillian tapas), Café Futbol (a local hotspot for bocadillas and helados, also amazing churros), La Bodega de Antonion (great traditional tapas), Los Diamantes (great for clams).
All in all, we had a fab weekend and would definitely stay in Parraga Siete again.

Modern room and kind of boutique hotel. It's such a small hotel located on a narrow side street which you will easily overlooked when you come by car. It's better to set your GPS to Victoria parking as the hotel has a special deal with this parking and could save you a few euros. Although in the center, there are so many signs that don't allow car to drive in but we saw the signs except for the hotel, so we just drove through. The car parking is just across the street and 2 minutes you arrive at the hotel. Check in is quick. The room is small but has well function walk in shower, good nights but there is not much space to put your clothes. There is no breakfast room in the hotel but they served breakfast in the restaurant next to them. We didn't take it there but at the beginning of the street, there is a local cafe which costs 2.6euro for a big toast with coffee. You could top up your breakfast with orange juice at 2 euro and extra omelet at 2 euro. The location of this hotel is very good, you could take a bus next to Cathedral to Alhambra.

Generally brilliant and funky boutique hotel which is centrally located, it has modern decor, comfortable beds and very helpful and professional staff. I noticed few people commenting that it is difficult to find this hotel via car. This is why we choose to arrive to Granada with train. It is very busy city with loads of traffic with confusing one way systems and tiny cobble street roads, after a bit or research train seemed much better option and it was supper easy and stress free. Alhambra is 25mins walking distance away but there is a bus stop going there every few minutes which is nearby. Overall excellent experience and very pleasant stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff, modern and quiet hotel. Just be aware - it's very difficult to get there by car - we spent more than 40 minutes to figure out how to get there. GPS is getting confused because of the switching one way streets to opposite ways..... mess...
But we got there and the parking is 5 minutes walk. Great location - in the downtown - 10-15 minutes walk to Albacin - old town.
Very modern room, comfortable bed and great WIFI reception. Get breakfast at the hotel cafe - it's not expensive, not sure about the dinner. The only thing we did not like - there's no shower door in the bathroom..... Yes, bathroom is too modern and huge and there's enough space but..... i just sometimes like the doors.... :)
