A walk along the streets of Sacramonte is well worthwhile and very beautiful. The traditional cave houses are interesting. There are several places to stop for a drink or food. Walking along the main Camino del Sacramonte into the countryside shows a more rural, traditionally Spanish side of Granada unlike the city centre or the Albayzin. Very enjoyable!

Definitely worth visiting whilst staying in Granada, the views from Sacromonte are simply amazing overlooking the Alhambra and the hills of Granada. The famous caves are also located near here along with the unique narrow roads and views.

If you have enough time in Granada, make sure that you take both a day walk and an evening walk down the streets of Sacromonte. During the day, you can visit the Cave museum whilst, in the evening, you have the option of having a glass of beer of wine in one of the Flamenco bars.Sacromonte is pure magic and from there, you will have a completely new view of the Alhambra.

The Cave Dwelling Museum is very interesting. We followed the visit there by a walk along the hillside- very good views and interesting alleyways leading to the Albayzin area and back to town.

The Sacromonte is a large mountain and if you go high up one can get very good views of Granada. However there is scant transportation and the bus does not go very often, so one has to wait a lot for the bus to come.
