“Fantastic Experience”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

This was our second visit. It was even better than the first time.
Excellent location with views of the Alhambra, very atmospheric especially at night.
Very helpful staff. nothing was too much trouble.
The room was perfect and spotlessly clean.
Get the bus (the green bus is fun) up to Sacramento, beautiful views, nice bars and restaurants

Room Tip: Pay for view of Alhambra, its amazing !

The hotel has a lot of character and has been well-kept. We felt like we had traveled back in time. It is located 1 flight up from the river directly across from the Alhambra. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions, recommending places to eat and getting us reservations.

The location in the historical Albayzin, facing Alhambra couldn't be better. The hotel itself has a wonderful atmosphere, with old frescoes in the lobby. It's not luxury but has character. We travelled with small children, and they really loved the 2-storied room we had. The reception staff was very helpful. Great quality/price ratio and we would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Views to Alhambra from the highest floors!

I will get the bad news out first. If you are driving by car- the directions they give you to park at the garage are not great and driving in Granada is very messy- a lot of traffic!!!
The hotel is at the corner of the Albyzin--so you are in the old arab quarter which is great. easy to find and get to--rooms small but comfortable-- and breakfast is very good. go walk up to the promenade and see the Alhambra with the sun setting and make sure you go and see the flamenco in the caves- yes its touristy but well worth it. overall a great hotel and city!!!

My experience at Palacio de Santa Ines was superb. Reception was cordial and professional and the room was very comfortable. The location is unbeatable, just off the Paseo de los Tristes, and just a couple of minutes' walk from Plaza Nueva and all the yummy eateries in Calle Elvira.

Don't forget to visit the historic bañuelos árabes (bathhouse) just a few mins away from the hotel. It's free entry and really stunning - a hidden gem!

Strongly recommend this hotel.

The Bathhouse that you said is called El Bañuelo, it is an amazing monument and is not crowded.

I hope see you again very soon.

We stayed 2 nights in this wonderful hotel. Room 10 was fantastic. It's very quiet and has a sitting room with a wall of windows that looks onto the Alhambra. It is ideally located a short walk from Plaza Nueva and there are a number of small bars and restaurants a few steps away.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the Alhambra. They cost more, but it's worth it.

We stayed in room 25. Our 2 kids had 2 beds up in a loft, our bed below was great, we had a view of the Alhambra, staff nice, spoke English, booked Alhambra for us. The location is just where you want to be. I'd skip breakfast for the price. Great choice -would stay again for sure.
