We had a great 2 day stay at Hotel Casa 1800 - Granada. The room, hotel location and staff were outstanding. Love the public rooms. We came from a 2 day stay in Seville and wished we had stayed at Hotel Casa 1800 - Seville.

It's a very solid value hotel for the money.

Room Tip: Don't expect expansive windows in your room.

Hotel casa 1800 was in an ideal location, next to the Albayzin and near the walking path up to the Alhambra. Made it very easy to pop back to the hotel a few times a day without a detour. Our room was excellent. We booked a deluxe room and got room 11 which was large and had a semi-private patio. Comfortable bed, roomy bathroom with a bathtub, which I actually used. The breakfast was decent, but a little pricey at 9.80 euros. Broad selection of fruit, jamon, queso, etc. But the scrambled eggs were pretty bad. Overcooked and not fresh. Thus my comment that it was a little pricey. But we enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea so it balanced out. José at the front desk was very knowledgeable and patient.

Just like it's sister hotel in Seville, the Hotel 1800 Granada was a great hotel with a nice lobby and friendly staff. The breakfast and afternoon tea are great! The only thing is that the hotel is slightly hidden and at night it can be a little bit scary if you are by yourself. Our room was located up three flights of stairs, and our side of the building did not have a elevator. My husband was able to carry our bags up, but if you have a stroller or lots of luggage ask to be in a room that can be accessed by the elevator. The room itself wasn't as nice as the one we had in Seville, this one was a bit older and smaller in size (room 7).

We were in Granada for our wedding and stayed at Casa 1800. The location was fantastic, close to one of the major plazas with great food options, buses, taxis, and, of course, close to Al Hambra. What made the stay even more amazing was the wonderful and personalized service. Everyone who worked there was professional and friendly. I want to thank Maria, Bea and Nellie for all their help during our stay.

Room Tip: The basic rooms are really tiny. It's not bad if you're going to be out most of the time bu...

Couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. After the rather stressful parking and then taxi due to driving restrictions the staff couldn't have been more helpful putting us at our ease. Jose on reception greeted us superbly and sorted out the parking fee with the garage. The room was delightful, lovely touch of afternoon tea, great breakfast. Excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. Wonderful place to stay when visiting Granada.

Granada is an historic gem and Hotel Cassa 1800 is set in the heart of the old town area around 15 minutes walk to the Alhambra. We had a junior suite which contained a bed with an enormous and comfortable 'memory foam' type mattress. Though the room was a little dark inside, as there was not too much natural light, the room was both ornate and characterful. Special mention must be made of the bathroom which has preserved what looks like it's original proportions and features.

The complimentary afternoon tea was most welcomed and the breakfast was of good quality but would benefit from the eggs and bacon being served hot rather than cold.

The welcome and service from the staff at the hotel was exemplary and genuine.

The Hotel Casa 1800 in Granada was a superb place for my wife and I during our recent stay in Granada. We recommend it without question. It's location is ideal and it is situated in the historic district on a very narrow cobblestone way. No automobiles are allowed so our sleep was extremely comfortable. The staff were all extremely gracious and helpful. Breakfast, although costing 9 Euros, was sumptuous despite the terrific amenities the price was extremely reasonable.
