First off, I must concur with the previous comments about driving. Not recommended in the old part of Granada. Would not recommend driving period in Spain, but that's another story. As for the hotel, the staff was extraordinary, and went out of their way on several occasions to introduce us to Granada, and to accommodate us before we got oriented to the city. The room was interesting and clean, but small, and the courtyards and eating areas were beautiful examples of local architecture. Our favorite staff member showed us the column (in the picture with this review) for which the hotel is named. The capital came from the Allhambra. This hotel is a nice spot in the heart of Granada. It will be worth your while to stay here.
