Internet did not work, Elevators very small and very very slow, We had a balcony facing a brick wall 6 feet away. The room for two people was very small. Old style TV, with no English channels.
No bar fridge in the room, no safe in the room, Very noisy Disco club playing all night, hard to sleep. Food area was on the 6th floor, no windows, just a small room and servers that could not speak any English The rooms was very dated, in need of upgrades, very drab and old.The room for two only had room for one suitcase and no room to put the second suitcase

Room Tip: Not sure how to select rooms in this hotel as the brick wall facing the balcony was better than bein...

My friend and I stayed at this hotel as part of an Archers tour of Andalucia. The rooms were very dark and my friend had to use my safety deposit box as she couldn't see the numbers on hers. Her room smelt of sewers as did the room next door and overlooked a horrible fire escape and she could not open her fridge. My room was a little better but neither of us slept well as the noise from revelling students kept us awake from 1.45 am to 4.15 am despite ear plugs. Our tour guide warned us about the students beforehand so cannot understand why Archers continues to use this hotel if they are aware of the problem. I was so tired it spoilt my visit to Granade. The maps from reception were not very helpful as most of us got lost.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room if there is one!

The very first receptionist I met was enthusiastic and helpful. Otherwise staff were ok. Location - ok, slightly seedy feel once away from the main tourist lanes but I didn't run into trouble. Rooms - I got upgraded to a king single room which was nice, but like someone else said there was a weird sewer smell. I had to close my toilet door all the time. Internet - patchy in areas. Breakfast - give it a miss. I only ate there because I woke up way too early and nothing else was open.

So we decided to visit Granada and booked one week fly&drive in *** hotel Don Juan. The pictures on their website looked promising: a "loungy" reception area and bar, bright rooms, perfect location....

Pictures tell stories, but in this case the wrong one. In any aspect imaginable. From the terrible sewer smell persisting in our tiny 4th floor bedroom, the noise, the elevator being out of order most of the time, the shower constantly swinging from piping hot to ice cold, the napkins they provide as towels in the bathroom, the uninspired food in its restaurant, and above all: the total lack of interest of the hotel staff. From the reception crew to the bar staff, they simply do not give a beep. Don Juan is like Falty Towers without the laughs.

After four days, we surrendered to this clear case of "check please". We moved to the coast and booked ourselves into the breathtaking hotel Vincci Posada del Patio in Malaga. What a difference....

Granada was our favorite city on the tour and we wish is was a longer stay. Shops, Restaurants, the Cathedral, and outdoor square, were all a nice walk through a beautiful city, that smelled of orange blossoms. One night, a full orchestra was playing outside the Cathedral. It was magical. The nightlife was vibrant and lively. I found my new favorite dessert... Chocolate con churros, pure delicious decadence. The hotel was mediocre, a standard 3 star tour hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The Internet was sketchy at best, but not that important while on vacation.

We stayed here overnight as part of a Cosmos tour group.

The hotel is small ans so are the rooms but thye are clean and adequate. The elevators were small and most of us took the stairs.

Out tour group had arranged supper for us at the hotel but there was a mix up and we were asked to leave the dining room as they were not ready for our group! Don't know what was going on but it was not a good experience. The hotel had obviously overbooked and their small dining room did not have the capacity to handle the # of people that were trying to ea there.

When we finally got seated in the diniing room a group from the local university came in and entertained us with delightful Spanish music we bought 2 of their CDs.

Hotel is small and was very contested during our stay I would not recommend a stay here.s
