We had gone for what we thought would be a lovely meal with a fantastic view of the Alhambra. How wrong we were. We had asked for mixed tapas and what followed was 4 huge plates of what can only be described as the fast food of Spain. The patatas bravas in particular looked and tasted like slightly roasted potatoes with tomato ketchup on top. Then.. the service. On the course of our meal we have 2 waiters, the first practically threw our food onto the table with neither a Hello or Thank you. The second was even worse! When we had finished (decided to leave) he came over and passively said 'Finito?' and before we could say anything our plates were being whisked away from us. When I had then asked for the bill he came over with lack of paper and shouted across the tables... 24! I had to ask again and he stood there and said 24 again, not a please in sight. It was only until my boyfriend said 'por favor' that he thanked us under his breath as he grabbed the money from my hand. He returned with the change and a very meager thank you again. We will never be returning to this restaurant and hope that the management give their employees some basic manners and etiquette training!
