Spent two memorable hours with outstanding service and delicious food at La Fabula. Surprising complimentary appetizers from the chef: small tidbits of beautifully presented and unusual like fish eggs on seaweed crisp, small bits of pork on a corn chip, egg made of cheese, to name a few; next three sweet bits of watermelon with a light teriyaki sauce;and then some amazing baby asparagus with ham and potato purée.The 2 starters we ordered were delicious mushrooms with onions and the other scallop risotto. For entrees, one of us had the grouper and potato purée - yummy and the other three ordered the John dory and al dente tagliatelle with garlic- delicious. We were too full to order dessert but was presented with a tray of tiny chocolates, and other sweets-another chef's surprise! The service was incredible, the menu was in Spanish and we were told no English menu but "I'll translate" -very patiently and very detailed. There were 2 to 4 wait staff setting the silverware -spinning-spoons-placing plates or serving dishes. Very courteous-choreographed movements. We were treated royally although very underdressed. A memorable evening at fabulous La Fabula!
