We stayed two nights in an apartment. There is a microwave in the kitchen and a sink, but thats about it(a couple of plates and forks and knifes) this could be a lit better. There is no wifi in the apartment, only in the hotel where
you have to check in (reina cristina)
The safe didnt work.

This booking was made solely on price, which was apparently as a result of an offer, but our two night stay this August cost €32 per night, which was phenomenal. If we go back, we´d certainly repeat the experience.

As the other reviewers have said, this block of apartments is extremely well located. The separate check in at the Reina Cristina wasn´t too much trouble, but the reception did take a bit of finding without a map. Staff in the restaurant in the ground floor are well used to giving directions.

Think of the apartment as a big hotel room - our´s was suitable for four - with loads of room for bags etc., and a big bathroom. The bathroom had an excellent shower (room for several!!) but with all that space there was no bidet - just a Roca machine atop the loo which certainly worked but needs to be treated with a lot of caution! The finish is okay rather than fantastic but this kind of adds to the charm. We wondered if our room really had been a genuine, small residential apartment at some stage.

The little kitchen was great for avoiding the need to go out for breakfast and we even had lunch there one of the days. If you have been camping as we had, we just transferred our food from the car and continued eating it! The fridge though was a minibar style machine and not up to much, plus we had to bring in our gas ring as they only had a microwave which is useless for a cafetiere or normal cookware. If you´re buying water, drinks or groceries, there is a very small general store at the other end of the street where the restaurant below is located and a small branch of supermarket Coviran about 5 minutes walk away - ask for directions.

The view from our (single) window had to be the best thing though. We didn´t face the Plaza de Pasiegas directly, but from our windowsill balcony we could clearly see and hear the free flamenco show - as well as squint at a rival one going on down at the other end of the street - great fun!

In Granada there is a very clear anti-car policy and this is great because it´s small and most of the time you won´t even think about using a car. However, driving to and parking near the suites is a bit of a mess - the Reina Cristina hotel offers it for €15 a day and the nearby Sant Antoni car park has a weekday offer of €10 per day. We got burned because we put our car into Sant Antoni on a Saturday night when there was no offer in place and paid €25 for 24 hours parking. I then found free parking in the residential area up near the university and Capucin monastery at the top end of Gran Via. NB: Directional signage in Granada is terrible, the one way system takes no prisoners and you can only enter Gran Via in the direction of the Cathedral illegally between 7am-10pm so watch yourself if you attempt this.

There is a very friendly little bar - the Cathedral Taverna - just down the street from the restaurant mentioned previously and they´ll serve you a tapa of their choice with every caña (small glass) of beer that you order at a cost of €1.50. This is a great way to get a light lunch and they are very pleasant there too. They aren´t open every day though.

Finally, mind your bags and possessions. This is standard advice wherever you are, but there are a few people around who look like they don´t have much and we experienced a direct and quite overt attempt at a snatch and run robbery. Bags zipped up and nothing in an exposed pocket is a good idea and hopefully there´ll be no problem.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first and second floor have a windowsill balcony where you can see what´´s happening ou...

These apartments are right in the town centre. Local bars and attractions within walking distance. Room has a great view of the Cathedral. Excellent powerful shower. Room is suitable clean and serviced daily. Exceptionally good value for money. Check-in is at Hotel Reina Cristina which is just down the street and the staff are very helpful and polite especially Laura on the front desk.

We booked this online several months in advance for a ridiculously cheap price. The room was fantastic - large with a mini kitchen (sink, microwave, fridge) and large windows opening directly onto the plaza and cathedral! Check-in was at nearby hotel reina Cristina (friendly staff) where breakfast was as well (which was a lovely spread with good variety).

Simply a perfect hotel to stay in the centre of Granada. Check in and break fast at Reina Cristina hotel. Room is relatively small but has it all so no problem. Baby cot was provided as promised. Loved it very much. One tip is that park you car in the hotel parking and do all touristic stuff by bus or foot. Highly recommended.

Hey all - just wanted to share my experience. I came into town really late, and the door to the hotel was locked. Luckily, Jose Jimenez was right nextdoor, and walked me to Hotel Reine Cristina to get me set-up! Coming into town after a long travel, and being personally guided around and checked in was amazing! Great service! My room also overlooked the square that peered over the Catedral! Great value, great stay. Ana at the front desk was great, as well as Maria.

The best thing about this apartment hotel is the location. You open the shutters and the Cathedral is right in front of you! :) The apartment itself was not bad either. We had a double flat that was nice and spacious and also very clean. Somebody was complaining about the confusion with checking in at Hotel Reina Christina, but we had no problems. All the information regarding this was clearly stated in our booking confirmation so we knew what to do. The breakfast (included in our room price) was served also at Reina Christina and it was very good.

The only negative thing was the occasional noise from outside. Even with windows and shutters closed you could clearly hear people talking on the street or at the square, which was not so nice at 4 am... But I guess this has more to do with the Spanish construction technology per se (or better, just old buildings :) ) than with this apartment hotel particularly. And luckily there was no traffic around!

Room Tip: The corner apartment gives a wonderful view to the cathedral but you will also hear everything that...
