Again the Spanish show that they know how to combine the old with the new. The old palace is beatyfully restored. It is connected to the new building next to it. We had a room in the old building, and it was great! Modern, but with respect of the old details. A lot of space, a huge bed (with great mattresses), and a good atmosphere. The only negative aspect: the noise from the streets; at night it wasn´t completely silent in our room.
The restaurant is also good. We have had lunch two times, and both times it was very good (and affordable too).
Another con is the parking garage under the hotel. It is very narrow, but it is possible to let you car parked by the hotel staff.
Overall conclusion: Wonderful place to stay for a while...

This hotel is a definite must for those of you wanting a boutique hotel experience but with some old world charm. Part of the building is old and beautifully kept. We stayed in the modern part, but the rooms were equisite, from the glass bathroom to minimilstic rooms.
There is nothing to fault with the hotel. This was a business trip and the organisation was fantastic - we were greated with chilled drinks on arrival. The concierge arranged my transfers from Malaga and a sight seeing trip. Everything went like clockwork. We ate in the restaurant the forst night and the food / service was excellent
Will be back here when I am not working!

I would surely recommend this hotel to you.
Nice rooms (we had one in the newer building : standard room). Great design.
Very Friendly personnel.
Have dinner in the evening at the hotel: great cook (although there are no that much guests), affordable and much better than tapas around.
Finding the hotel by car (now traffic works in Granada) is worse than you can imagine. Simply park your car before or around the hotel and the staff takes care!
Great hotel!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in May in a Junior Suite in the main palace. The room was quite spacious and it faced the courtyard. The decor is quite modern.I took the advice of some prior writers and thought it would be quiet. The courtyard actually opens up into the main street and our first night was a saturday night. People were out screaming until 7 AM! We figured the next night would be better (sunday night). The night was quiet but bus/moped traffice started around 6 AM. Needless to say, we did not get much rest here. Otherwise, the hotel was fantastic- the staff, amenities, location, etc. If you are a light sleeper, it may be a problem since you are in the center of the city. You could try to ask for their quietest room- I don't think facing the courtyard is the answer. We also arrived by car and had a heck of a time figuring out where to leave the car so the staff could park it for us- turns out we were supposed to park it illegally on the sidewalk and run inside. It's not a big hotel so no one is standing at the door waiting for guests. In fact, we drove buy at least twice not knowing that was the hotel.
We never used the restaurant. There were at least 3 places down the street where you could have coffee with bread/ham/cheese/juice.

we stayed at hotel only for 1 night as we had to move closer to town with family. so we didn't have time to use facilities; but STAFF IS NICE, they let us run to the spa bath really quickly (even take photos); room is beautiful but i am always annoyed witth bathroom sinks that never have enough space to put my own bathroom stuffs. breakfast is good value.

Looks beautiful, the staff were great, and the room magnificent. Don't miss a meal in the restaurant - it would be easy to dismiss it, as everything else is so wow, but the food was amongst the best of our holiday. Even though it's in the new bit of Granada, and a bit of a walk to the sights, it felt as if every penny of our stay here was worth it.

this hotel was very fancy and very comforable. we got a really good deal on it because we went during the off season. it was very nice but a bit too fancy. one night we went to the hotel restaurant and they had a water menu...yes, a menu only for the water. that was a bit too much for us. it was between $5 and $15 for just the water, not the kind of place with a $30 soup or salad. we ended up going to a place that we could afford. the only problem with the place was that their was a weird smell and we think it was a problem with the plumbing because the toilets didn't flush very well.
