My family and I rented an apartment in Granada for March holidays. Our apartment was at the top of the hill above the Albaicin neighborhood and, multiple times per day, we would walk down to the city center. On our first day, we discovered Llevaté Café and it became a staple--sometimes we would stop three, four, or five times per day (we're from near Seattle so coffee junkies!).
Not only was the coffee delicious, but the baked goods were also amazing. My mom also enjoyed the wide tea selection Fabi had available. But, the best part of cozy little Llevaté Café was, hands down, Fabiola, the owner. SOOOO friendly, warm, and inviting! Over my short time in Granada, we forged a friendship and she even took my family and I walking through the Sacramonte neighborhood and, one night she took me out with some friends. The vibe at Llevaté Café is great: part neighborhood joint for the regulars and part welcoming cafe for the tourists/travelers.
I can't recommend Llevaté Café more! Don't just stop for a coffee--take the time to chat with Fabiola and make it a part of your daily routine whilst in Granada.
