My family and I rented an apartment in Granada for March holidays. Our apartment was at the top of the hill above the Albaicin neighborhood and, multiple times per day, we would walk down to the city center. On our first day, we discovered Llevaté Café and it became a staple--sometimes we would stop three, four, or five times per day (we're from near Seattle so coffee junkies!).

Not only was the coffee delicious, but the baked goods were also amazing. My mom also enjoyed the wide tea selection Fabi had available. But, the best part of cozy little Llevaté Café was, hands down, Fabiola, the owner. SOOOO friendly, warm, and inviting! Over my short time in Granada, we forged a friendship and she even took my family and I walking through the Sacramonte neighborhood and, one night she took me out with some friends. The vibe at Llevaté Café is great: part neighborhood joint for the regulars and part welcoming cafe for the tourists/travelers.

I can't recommend Llevaté Café more! Don't just stop for a coffee--take the time to chat with Fabiola and make it a part of your daily routine whilst in Granada.

Excellent place for coffe or tea or ice creams. A must in the Albayzin. Everybody should visit the cozy coffe shop and some times there are exhibitions. The owner will make you feel at home. They also sell natural ground coffe for you to take away as well as a great variety of different kinds of teas. Now in the spring season you can taste the delicious smoothies, all natural, also the home made cakes made by Fabi or Angela. A little bit of heaven!
It is a peculiar business, it looks like one do those coffee shops in Brooklyn, New York, very stylish.
A charming place that everybody must visit if they go to Granada.

Lovely, cozy and friendly little niche on a charming street in the heart of the Albaicin
neighborhood. Fabiloa, the owner is fun, charming and will serve you up the best coffe or tea
(and now ice cream) in the area. She exhibits art from local artists and has openings with live music. A great place to hang out, meet the locals and see some great art work.
We are locals and go there 3-4 times a week.
Maybe we'll see you there!

This little gem is hidden in one of the main streets of Albayzin, Calle del Agua, just a few steps from the lively Plaza Larga. You can smell pure coffee from the door and if you have a quick look inside you will always see charming Fabiola smiling at the world from the other side of the counter.

You can either buy fresh ground coffee by the kilo or order a coffee or tea to take away, there is a wide selection of aromas and flavour to choose from. Make your choice, allow the time lapse that good things take to get properly done, remember that good things come to those who wait and then continue wandering around the beautiful Arabic quarter with a hot drink on your hands, which will more than likely heat your soul as well as your body

We were wondering around the amazing Albayzin when the smell of freshly rousted coffee dragged us to LlevaTecafe! The place is small but full of charm and the smell inside...delicious! They have a very large selection of teas and coffee. I got to try the tea "Dreams of the Alhambra" and my partner a cup of the superb coffee whose smell had drifted us there. The place is unique also because it offers both tea and coffee to go, but it was so lovely inside, the owner so friendly, we enjoyed our drink inside! It was only a small break but we loved it! We left LlevaTecafe with recharged batteries to continue exploring the marvelous Albayzin and Granada! The place looks exactly as it shows on its website (http://llevatecafe.wordpress.com/about/); isn’t lovely?
