The Carmen del Cobertizo is a gem. Right off of Plaza Nueva, it is quiet (on a small alley) but extremely close to the main drag, where buses and taxis can zip you to the Alhambra, train station, etc. Lorena, the owner, was awesome. She speaks little English but was extremely friendly and accommodating. She sent a taxi driver to pick us up at the airport and even suggested a delicious pastry in Grazalema (our next stop). We stayed only one night but Lorena insisted that we use the house after check out. Our room was cozy but beautiful, with a view of the gorgeous backyard and dipping pool. I'd stay here again in an instant.
