After spending some time researching possible places to stay in Granada, I hit upon this one, and initially chose it because the response was quick and friendly, and the price very attractive. Booking was easy from England as well.

The location is excellent, in an area which offers very well priced restaurants and bars as well as two or three supermarkets, bookshops, general stores, cake shops, phone and computer shops, and so the list goes on. Chemists' too. It s also within a quite short walking distance of the cathedral, Elvira, the Albaicin and the Alhambra, and numerous other must sees. You will not need to take any transport other than possibly the odd bus to get around the city from here. Should you arrive by car, there is friendly parking nearby (which can be arranged though the hostel), open from 7 am until 1 am.

The owners, originally from the Netherlands, are most welcoming and friendly, and go well above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to taking care of their guests. You will be able to get access to a wealth of local information and advice on most topics Grenadian, including best restaurants, do's and don’ts, local events and tourism (including flamenco and sightseeing opportunities), excursions, indeed you will not get better information even from the local tourist offices.

The accommodation itself is very comfortable and kept scrupulously clean. Everything works (unless you break it - e.g. throw paper in the toilet - don't do this in Spain in general!!!). If you're cold, you can heat it up. Otherwise, cool it down. Overall, the place has a very warm and friendly feel, and a sense of trust prevails. You can even have your laundry done for a very modest fee, or with permission use the owners' kitchen if you need. You really would be very hard pressed to find somewhere as good as this in the city itself, on any count. I rate this place very highly, and will most definitely stay here again next time I visit Granada.

We visited in August. Myself, wife & daughter. The room was simple, single bed and bunk bed. Small TV & Aircon (a bit noisy). Simple bathroom and toilet. The owners were nice (spoke Spanish & English). They had some leaflets for the Flamenco dancing in the cuevas (caves). Which were houses built into the hills. The Flamenco trip was disorganized and over booked with other groups. (My wife did not see anything). I would take a bus with a group of friends and organise it yourselves.
The Hostal was in a central location. Easy to walk anywhere in the centre of Granada.

We spent 3 nights in this friendly hostel in Granada, and it was a very good and lucky choice for our holiday! It's located in the center of the city, very close to the Cathedral but not in the turistic area, where shops and bars are not expensive! Our room was comfortable and always clean, the staff is very kind and helpful. The girl at the reception gave us good advices to eat tapas for our first dinner! The only negative point was that our room was on the street side, which was noisy in the night! But i'd lively recommend it!

me and my boyfriend were on a relaxing trip, and we looked around for a place to stay. we decided to look around to check all the hostals in the area to find the nicest one, but when we came to this hostal we instantly "fell in love" with the place and especially the owners, so we decided to stay. They were so nice and we felt so great and welcome that we decided to stay the last days of the vacation. This place is so great and we wouldent stay anywere else, when we visit granada again! :D thank you Hostal Neuvas Naciones for a great time.

Stayed in a 4-bed room with bathroom with my husband and 2 teenagers, and would definitely recommend the place. To be honest it looks a bit dodgy from the outside, but inside was clean and quite new, and the owners very welcoming and helpful. Easy to get a bus to the alhambra, but we walked everywhere else. Would definitely stay here again.

This hostel is a gem. It's in a very good location, from where you can basicaly walk everywhere, except the Alhambra, where you should take a bus, because it's a steep up hill.
The couple that runs the hostel is lovely. They are probaly Germans and they will help you with whatever you need and give you tips on where to go and how to go. The rooms are very well decorates and very comphy. The internet doesn't really work in the rooms, so you have to get you laptop close to the reception area for a good conection but that's not a big deal really. They even made my dirty laundry for only 5 euros. I loved this place and if I go back to Seville I'll definetly stay there again.

Had a great stay there at beautiful Granada - the hostal is very clean (the staff kept it very well) and the price is excellent value for money! We loved the hosts, the staff and the friendly dog of the house (dont worry - the dog is extremely friendly). Unfortunately the pictures on the internet do not do justice to the place (they need to use better pictures) - it is a great place to stay and at the low price they are charging - the money saved can be best used to enjoy the sights of Granada! Highly recommended - EXCELLENT VALUE and GREAT PLACE!
