Stayed with friends for two nights. Very good double rooms and bathrooms- all very clean and well furnished. Excellent location in Calle Navas with all the tapas bars.
Super breakfasts. The staff were very helpful with recommendations on where to eat and arranged for an excellent flamenco show. In all very good value for money.

It is very difficult to say something new about Granada, but some words on the Hotel Palacio de los Navas, located in a pedestrian street of the same name, Navas, are appropriate. Very charming indeed. The hotel is located in 3 storey building at the corner of Navas Street, where in the seventeenth century a group of families lived, sharing a common patio inside and open with no roof. Such a patio was then closed with glass and became livable under any weather.

The rooms are very comfortable. The service and receptivity are in accord with the family aspect of the past. A very cute way to pass some days exploring Granada from the centre. The hotel was available through www.epoquehotels.com

Rated 36 when we were choosing we decided to take a chance on this one, partly because of instinct but partly because on the day we were able to get an absolutely fantastic bargain by using booking.com.
This was a fabulous hotel choice. Really almost impossible to find fault with anything.
For 120 euros per night we got a great luxury double room 23 on the 2nd floor. Facilities were excellent, nice clean fresh bathroom. Well sized hard beds flat screen television, nice room furniture. Beautifully, simply decorated. The hotel is an absolute pleasure to come back to. Staff are all very helpful. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The position on the Navas could hardly be bettered. Perhaps the street can be noisy and we had wondered about street noise. In fact it was no problem at all once we decided to close the shutters at night. Granada is strange in one respect in that the local way is to be loud and rowdy and this is just as likely at 3 in the morning! No respect at all for those who might want to get to sleep. Luckily this was not ultimately a problem.
Granada is a great place for a long weekend. The Alhambra is one of the most amazing experiences in the World and the older parts of town are delightful. Also, there are some great opportunities to travel to elsewhere in the area. Especially Cordoba and the sensational Mezquita Cathedral.
Highly recommended but don't look anywhere else for your hotel. You could spend double or triple and get nothing better.

I wanted to stay in central Granada and this was a great location on calle Navas, a street full of tapas bars. I had a single room - I've stayed in single rooms that are tiny but this was adequate. It was a little noisy during the day with children playing in a little park area below my room but it was quiet at night. No balcony but a nice window (but not a great view). Hotel was quite lovely with a beautiful patio and lobby. The staff was not particularly warm and friendly - which was unfortunate. Nice breakfast served in room in basement. This included jamon serrano with fresh tomato and olive oil for your bread. Serve yourself coffee so you can get as much as you like. Staff was in a hurry to take down the breakfast right on time - definately not wanting you to linger if you went past the breakfast serving time. I paid 95 euros not including vat, breakfast included for a single room (#14) which was a reasonable price for the location and quality of the accomodation.

This hotel was fantastic. My husband and i wanted a few days honeymoon with a nice hotel ideally located for restaurants and wandering about- this hotel was perfect. The rooms were clean, light and airy although basic you wouldnt need much more. The breakfasts were great and the staff so helpful. The ideal thing about this hotel is its perfect location. there are some amazing bars nearby and its great for wandering about the city as well as a short walk to the Alahambra. I would definately recommend this as a perfect hotel for exploring Granada.

This hotel took care of our every need. We had our Alhambra tickets waiting for us, we had the best guide arranged by them that we could have wished for, they arranged for a classic, very personal flamenco night in the Sacramento Caves.
The breakfast was the most memorable and full of variety of our two weeks in Spain!
We loved our room (yes, it was alittle noisey with the window open), but the furnishings fit into a 15th century palace. The bathroom was the best. The staff were oh so gracious.
We loved the location...there was a little bar recommended by them down the street where we became 'regulars'. They had the best wine and tapas of our trip.
The walking tour where you meet in the square next to the cathedral was just more than you could imagine. We loved Granada the most and the Alhambra. Would definitely do it all again. Thank you Hotel Palacio de Los Navas.

This is a tiny hotel with tiny rooms with most basic equipment, no internet, spartan furniture. The most unappetizing breakfast I had in years. Not that cheap given what it has to offer.
