We spent 1 night at this lovely hotel. The decor was modern yet still reflected the history of the building. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The staff were very helpful. The location on the edge of the old town is great and the view of the Alhambra from our room was amazing. It was a shame we weren't able to stay longer. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

The receptionist on duty when we arrived had no time for small talk: name, passport, breakfast is 8 until 10, no smoking, sign here ! And no, if you want a cup of coffee you'll have to pay for it.

Our De Luxe Plus room , presumably the best in the house, was not exactly the last word in luxury. Dark and gloomy with only one small window - from which we had a decent view - but with very poor lighting and neither mirror nor tea/coffee facilities. Not a place in which to linger. Dank bathroom with only a shower and just one small mirror. Breakfast, 12 euro extra per person, was fine but served in a depressing windowless dungeon of a basement and you had to go in search of a second cup of coffee. There is no private car parking and none on the street outside so you'll have to go in search of a public car park.

Positives? Yes there was a glass of very dry sherry on offer between 7 and 8 pm and it is very convenient base from which to explore the best parts of Granada.

But, all told, when we came to pay a bill of nearly 500 euro for two nights in what is really a guest house and, having to leave before breakfast was served, to have a request for an orange from a bowl on display refused was a bit of an insult. This is a place which sorely needs a bit of sympathetic hands-on management.

Room tip: Try to get a room over-looking the river

Our beautiful 16th century hotel appeals to most, but not nessesarily every traveler. After hundreds of positive reviews on TripAdvisor, about our staff and amenities, we were surprised and sorry that you felt disappointed. Should your travels take you to Granada in the future, please let me know, and we will make our utmost to make your stay a comfortable one.

This hotel is in an excellent location with lovely views ... the rooms were clean and comfortable ... the noise level was fine even though we were on the street side. If you want to be located in the historic part of town you are going to have people on the streets outside laughing and chatting. It could have been you yourself laughing under someone else's window a few minutes before!
The nicest touch was the happy hour in the lounge where you got sherry, treats and a chance to chat with other guests. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.

We spent two amazing nights in Granada. This hotel is a 16th century home that has been updated to include all the modern necessities. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very thoughtful and welcoming. The location is also perfect as it is just of the main square. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel based on high ratings on booking.com and here, paid about 275 euros for 2 nights. This hotel was very close to Alhambra and right next to the Darro River. So close to everything plus a top quality boutique hotel. We were in the front center room on the 2nd floor (3rd floor to americans) which is right over the busy walkway however the outside window/door has double pane windows so we had sound sleep with no noise from outside or inside. Very nice library area where we relaxed for an hour or 2 waiting for a taxi to the airport after we checked out. Very helpful and pleasant front desk staff. The only slight problem is if you drive in you have to park 10 minute walk away and it can be tough if you get lost...make sure you have google maps on your iPhone/smartphone and you will be ok (iPhone maps could not find things that google maps could find)

Room tip: choose the front center room on the 2nd floor. (actually 3rd floor)
