We spent two nights in this charming, warm and comfortable boutique hotel. The neighborhood was convenient to the sights. We enjoyed the roof when we had our happy hour one night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating packing us a breakfast package and arranging for a taxi to pick us up at 5:00 A.M. to take us up to Alhambra to wait in line for our tickets. No request was too much for them to handle. The breakfast on the 2nd morning was sufficient with cereals, breads, cakes, juices and coffee. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here one night to quickly see Granada and the Alhambra. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a charming atmosphere and lovely wooden architecture. We had a room on the top floor, and a view of the Alhambra from our window.(Initially we were a little worried about street noise, but it wasn't a problem. Views of the Alhambra are street side.) Rooms are simple and clean with beautifully carved wooden furniture. The staff spoke English very well (we need work on our Spanish!), and provided maps and helpful information for the area. It is a short (10-15min) down hill walk to many eating and shopping areas in Albayzin. There is a lovely free breakfast included with the stay (jamon, pastries, coffee, juices, cheese, bread-pictures on their website), and they make a great bitter orange marmalade. The prices were also very reasonable.

Surrounding area:
Buses leave from the Cathedral (15 min walk down hill from hotel) to take visitors to the Alhambra if you prefer not to walk.

There is a really great Moroccan restaurant Arrayanes in the food and shopping area at the bottom of the hill.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms are best for viewing Alhambra, however note that these rooms are most likely going t...

The hotel is conveniently located in a charming neighborhood of Albayzin (the old Moorish area). It is 10-15 minutes walk to the Cathedral, where we take a minibus to the Alhambra palaces. On our way there we pass the Arabian market. It is also about 15 minutes walk to Sacramonte, where gypsies live in caves and where we see flamenco dance performed by the gypsies. The hotel is about 15 minutes taxi ride (9 euros) from the bus station. It has an inner courtyard, which is simply charming. The room is clean and charming, and it has free wi-fi and a safe for valuables. A full breakfast is included, such as bread, cold cuts, cheese, tomatoes, yogurt, fruits, etc. The receptionists speak English and are helpful. We'll definitely stay in this hotel again.

My niece and I stayed here for only one night, wish it could have been more. This small boutique hotel is located in the heart of Albayzin (old Moorish area) in a very old converted building next door to a cloistered convent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was simple but lovely and comfortable with beautiful wooden carvings. Wifi in the rooms and CNN in English on TV. A nice breakfast served in a charming breakfast room is available. Also a small sitting room is available for use by guests, with two decanters of home made liquor available for sipping. Restaurants, tapas bars, etc, are within a short walking distance. There is nothing like sitting in the sunshine, enjoying a meal with a lovely view of the city. Streets are winding and very narrow, Bus #31 runs by the hotel into Granada - these are mini buses due to the narrow, winding streets. Taxis also are available. I would definitely go back to this hotel some day and experience more of lovely Granada.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late October and we booked through booking.com at Euros 105 per night.

The hotel is formed from a renovated old convent built around a central open courtyard and is located in the heart of the Albayzin [ the old Moorish area] . Its elevated position provides excellent views across the low lying city towards the Alhambra - which looks even better when lit up at night .
Our ground floor room was spotlessly clean, of good size, with comfortable beds, effective air conditioning and a simple but tasteful decor featuring some very impressive wood carvings.
The deal included breakfast at the hotel which was particularly good with a wide choice of tasty things to eat - their home-made marmalade was just too nice to resist .

The area around the hotel has several bar/ restaurants that offer good food at reasonable prices. The local bus [ number 31 ] stops right outside the hotel and you can be in the city centre i.e. the stop outside the Cathedral in about 10 minutes. As the bus runs on a loop it takes about 20 minutes to get back to the hotel. The bus to the Alhambra is from the same stop outside the Cathedral - from memory, it is a number 30, but do check.

The hotel is staffed by the most helpful people we have encountered in many years of travelling - nothing was of too much trouble to them and they happily resolved the problems we were having in getting tickets to the Alhambra and getting bookings for the train and the long distance coach for the next two legs of our tour, They even offered to do our laundry for free. There is a large sitting room provided for guests which has lots of interesting antiques and a choice of two very enjoyable free home-made liquors - now when was the last time a hotel gave you that ?

We would heartily recommend visiting Granada, it is that special and if you do ,you should seriously consider staying at this hotel - you won't be disappointed.

Suspect we found this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews and were certainly not disappointed. The sensitively converted old building was perfectly located - whether you wanted to walk around the Albayzin area, walk to the Alhambra, walk to the cathedral (note, you can walk everywhere if you don't mine a few steps!). Staff were friendly and courteous at all times. Our room (10) was spacious and comfortable - one of the best beds I have slept in for sometime. Breakfast was fine. We had free car parking.

Room Tip: No idea what other rooms are like - but 10 was great!

I booked the room with view to Alhambra, its a fantastic view over the castle and Granada city. The hotel is situated in Albaicin almost by Mirador de San Nicolas, and can be a little hard to find.

The room was very clean and beautiful decorated and had what I expected, the bed was nice and big and I slept good. All hotel is small with just a few rooms and the breakfast is in the basement and is typical Spanish.

The hotel is very romantic and I highly recommend a stay here some nights if you visit Granada!
