This museum will introduce you to the Jews of Cordoba. It is the effort of someone who appears to be a private collector. If this is a topic that appeals to you it is certainly worth a visit. It is not the Jewish Museum in NY but it is interesting.

This is a very new establishment so it was not in our latest guidebook. We happened to stumble across it and thought it might be interesting to learn a bit more about Cordoba's old Jewish population under Muslim rule and then under Catholic monarchs. We really made the right decision to enter. It was a fascinating guided visit which taught us so much about the history of Spain in general, not just about Jewish culture. We got the royal treatment during our tour and had a wonderful hour-long visit where the guide was happy to answer all our questions. We even bought tickets for a concert there the next evening on the top floor with a fabulous view of the Alhambra. The concert of sephardic music was so beautiful- our first experience of the middle-eastern sounding tunes As the sun set we felt so lucky to have attended.
