Stayed one night with a tour group.
The room is big and spacious with a unique glass wash basin.
There were 2 little bedside lamps and the bed was very comfortable.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant.
The quality of the food was good, especially the salad.

We only stayed in the hotel for one night in a tourist group. It appeared to be in the middle of nowhere and we needed the hotel to order a cab to get into Granada city centre for EURO 7/8.

The circular architectural building structure with a large atrium in the centre may present a modern image; but is quite bare when you look around from the lobby. The guest rooms are well appointed; but our friends were assigned a room on the 1/F being closely overlooked by the houses opposite with total lack of privacy unless you drew the curtains night and day.

Services of the front of houses were efficient and helpful; but food services could at best be described as adequate with no frills. The selection of food for the buffet breakfast and dinner was rather limited and pedestrian for the 4-star hotel claimed.

I would say the hotel is adequate but not the best choice for visit to Granada, particularly if one is without a car and pressed by time to try to see most in a short time.

Room Tip: Insist on getting a room on the upper floors and NOT one of those on the 1/F overlooked by the resid...

Dear guest,
Thank you for your comments. It is a shame that you did not have more than hours to visit the city and the hotel surroundings, although we are not in the city center, the hotel is located very close to a large shopping center and an area of significant restoration of Granada. We hope that on your next visit you can spend more days to enjoy Granada.

As you arrive at the hotel , the first thing i notice is how amazing the architecture of the building is....different. It looks very modern and reminded me of the luxor in Las Vegas.... just the circular version! after parking , we go in and check in at the front desk. The ladies were very nice and helpful. They didn't know that much english so they took their phones out and had a traslator app , which i thought was very nice of them. Language barriers suck! foursquare also has a coupon for a free 30 minute massage in their aqua massage thing if you check in so don't forget to go on their wi-fi so you can check in. So after getting everything settled , we go into our rooms and BAM! beautiful rooms. now don't forget Europe rooms are not the same size as American rooms so our expectations weren't that high. The rooms were pretty decent. Not too small , not too big, just good enough to get by. I was sharing a room with a friend and we never had issues about being crowded at anytime during our stay there. After unpacking , we head back down to the lobby and go to the bar , which is to the back left side of the hotel upon entering. Prices are a bit high , which i think is normal for a hotel so its ok , order a beer and chill in one of the hotels many chairs in the lobby and soak in the moment that we are in Granada and then head out to the city to get our party on! So we go into our cars and head "downtown" to party!! the walk to the "downtown" area is kind of a ways. I'd say its about an hour walk if you are doing a normal pace and stopping now and then to trip out on how clean the city is and to stare at random fascinating buildings and to look at all the gargoyle statues everywhere (friendly looking gargoyle's though). If you have no service in Europe for your phone , make sure to use your wi-fi before you head out so you have a small picture of the area in case you get lost , which is my case because i lost my group around 4am and had to walk back on my own (well worth it!!). So i get back and lay on my comfy bed for about an hour and get up around 6am for breakfast. Since we were all hungover , i can't recall if their breakfast was good or bad but i do know it filled me up enough to have enough energy to get me thru the day , which was skiing on the Sierra Nevada Mountains from 8am to 5pm. Espana I miss you

While approaching the Hotel one is impressed by the circular mod looking architecture of the building. The lobby & the reception also give the sense of Space where one can breathe! But this impression is quickly dispelled by the hordes of tourists who keep coming in bus loads of tour packages. The ladies at the reception did some how manage to handle them well.
The materials used for making the room seem to be sub standard & falling apart. As usual there was no kettle or tea/coffee preparation things. The B`fast had a wide range but nothing out standing with only one or two fruit juices.I had heard of the lovely view which one can enjoy on the terracce. But found the door locked with no permission to open it.So we missed watching with a drink in hand the lovely view of the Sierra Nevada mountains.Being summer of course there was no snow.
The Hotel is far from the main center but there is a super market close by which has wide variety of things.

Stayed here in February for a couple of nights with my parents and nephew. It is a very modern looking hotel, and the circular shape of the building is very interesting (although this does seem to be a theme in Granada, so it isn't as obvious as you'd think!) The rooms were large enough and quite pleasant, with very comfortable beds, ample plug sockets and other features. The bathrooms were of great delight to my 12 year old nephew, with toilets featuring (as he liked to put it) 'bum showers' ! The shower was quite good and was also rather large, and the sink etc were all very modern looking. We had breakfast there with our deal, and it was a buffet style affair, with food ranging from hot meats to pastries. I think you pay for parking in the hotel, but there are lots of surrounding streets where you can park for free. I also believe there is a Spa package available, giving access to the inside pool. I believe that there was an outside pool as well, but being February I wasn't that concerned.
The location was perfect for a long wander into Granada, which is a beautiful city. We never quite made it to the Alhambra, because we later realised that it is up a very big hill.
Overall, I would highly rate this hotel and Granada.

On the outskirts of Granada near to the ring road and motorway with wonderful views of the Sierra Nevada. We had a nice room, well soundproofed. The bathroom was good and the loo/bidet - well I've never experienced one quite like it! We dined in two different rooms - the main restaurant is better than the large barn where they put the coach parties which was noisy. We had a snack at the bar one lunchtime which was very substantial and well priced, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The Reception staff were most helpful. There are shops and a bank nearby including a LIdl right next door. We took a taxi into Granada for under ten euros and there's also a bus service a 1.50 single.

We stayed for one night at Abades Nevada Palace Hotel in room 437 (on the other side of the hotel from the Sierra Nevada Mountains). It is popular with coach tours because it is a bit outside of town, so it is less expensive and coaches can park there easily.

Plus
• The fresh orange juice that we ordered at dinner was sweet and delicious
• Modern design, linoleum floors, many electrical plugs
• A dining room where dinner buffet was a available

Minus
• Free hotel wi-fi was slow, but usually it could be used to send messages
• The hand shower kept slipping down the vertical bar in the shower
• Toilet is a bit too small for anyone over six feet tall
• At peak times such as breakfast, the small elevators are insufficient for the load
• "Double bed" was two singles pushed together
• At breakfast, juices were flavored water, tables often crowded.

We felt that the hotel was adequate but not special, despite its circular design and chic decor.
