My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was far from special. The walls are thin so we heard everything, the staff don't speak any English but are nice, our bathroom was dirty with hair all over the floor, there was only enough hot water for one person, and the key for the outside door you had to fiddle with for 5 minutes before it would open. The positives about the place is that the wifi is good when you have a strong connection, and it is about a 10 min walk from the train station. If you are on a budget then it is at least a safe building and there are probably way more terrible places out there.

If you want more than very basic accommodation this establishment is not for you.
Outside it is classified as a pension, not a hostel.
I am there now,in January, the rooms are barely warm, one small radiator just warm.
Good situation but very noisy at night and this is winter, refuse collection 6.00am.
But very cheap for Granada.
Be warned, parking in Granada is not cheap, and driving is no pleasure, busiest city I have ever driven in. and the road map we purchased, does'nt show one way streets, of which this hostel is in. from Calle Constitution.

Anyone who says this place is not good is obviously a rookie traveller. Value for money this place is spot on. Yeah the rooms are basic but me and the missus paid 20euro for a night. The beds were good and the room was spotless. Good location too. We had stayed in a different. Hotel around the corner before going to Sierra Nevada which was 2.5 times the price and just as good, with crap beds.

Very inexpensive but nice and clean, run by a couple so charming and friendly that you immediately feel good about this place. Manuel will give you a map of Granada with directions and information and good tips on visiting Alhambra and other places. The pension is close to the historic center, and you can walk there either on the Granada’s major avenue Gran Via de Colon or on a quieter San Juan de Dios with Granada University buildings, monasteries and hospitals. Our room had air conditioner and WiFi, bathroom with bath and shower (but no toiletries provided).

It has to be probably the best thing you can find for a cheap price.
It is run by a family and they help you with everything they can. Besides the location is just perfect.
I would come back again here.
