“Lovely holiday home”
Reviewed 11 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

We stayed here for 4 nights. Very homely. Great views of the Alhambra from the terrace. Local shops nearby. Short walk to the Mirador de San Nicholas!
Also close to Masjid with halal restaurant outside it.
Loved our stay- thank you!

“Ideal location, charming apartment”
Reviewed 17 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Beautiful apartment located on a narrow cobbled street in the Albaicin area of Granada. You walk straight into the lounge/kitchen area which also features a comfy sofa bed. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are French doors on to a little courtyard with a lemon tree. Off the kitchen is a loo and shower, which is pretty powerful (The shower, that is). The tiled staircase goes up to a landing with a single bedroom and then a double bedroom with an ensuite loo and hand-basin. The double bed is small but very comfortable and all the rooms were clean and simply appointed.
Also leading off the landing was an external flight of steps to the roof terrace. There are chairs and a table up here and views across the roof tops to the Alhambra.
We were a family of four with our university-age son and daughter and the apartment was perfect for our two nights in Granada. It is in the heart of the Albaicin (old Moorish quarter) and in walking distance of shops for the basics (coffee, bread milk etc) and plenty of places to eat. At the end of the street is the lively Mirador St Nicholas area with its magnificent views across the valley to the Alhambra. This is a good reference point for taxis when you arrive/depart.
We are all good walkers and the apartment is in a perfect location, not just for the Albaicin, but for the city centre, the area down by the river, and even the main entrance to the Alhambra, via a steep path called the Cuesta del ray Chico.
Adrian the owner was very helpful too, so all in all, a great place for stop-over in Granada.

We had a lovely short stay here while in Granada. The place was hard to find, but the owners were very helpful, found us free parking nearby, and also advised on restaurants and a flamenco evening which was superb.
The accommodation was perfect for us with 2 young children, the kitchen was well equipped and the roof terrace in the evening with the view of the Alhambra Palace was the icing on the cake.

“Perfect casita for feeling the essence of Albaicin”

We were here in February and to have coffee or drinks on the rooftop terrace gazing at the Alhambra was a joy- the house is comfortable and full of light and there is a terrace on ground floor just off the small but well equipped kitchen. This central location allows one to walk everywhere in minutes - but I think we were surprised at how many tourists are in Granada- especially in Albaicin - many students- one can almost float on the fumes of hash and trip over dreadlocks, but the historical character of the place makes your visit worthwhile!

“Perfect house in the Albaycin”
Reviewed 5 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

This house was one of our most favorite places. The rooftop terrace with views of the Alhambra was truly inspiring. It was chilly the time we were there but the heat worked great and Eli was lovely. She helped us wend our way into the Albaycin and even found us a great parking spot.
If you are looking for a cool house in the old section of town and a unique experience then you will love this house!

“Highlight of our trip!”
Reviewed 10 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Charming place with everything we needed. Alhambra view is awe-inspiring. We felt so comfortable that we cooked and ate dinner at home all three nights. Not a luxury or modern flat, but the kind that makes you think you could easily live there permanently. Easy walk to downtown or Plaza Larga for meals or supplies, with a bus available if needed. Extremely nice host at this property. Wait until you have contacted him for directions before you try to drive up there. Recommend the Bono Card for Alhambra entrance if you don't know to book ahead online - we used it for a few bus rides and entrance to other sites.

“Fantastic town house with Alhambra views from roof terrace”

This was the best place we stayed at in Granada, lovely town house with a roof terrace that has views to the Alhambra. The house also has an own inside yard with beautiful flowers and a lemon tree. It is very tastefully furnished and has everything we needed. Parking is easy right outsde, the owner takes care of keeping a spot for his guests. The location is very closed to the famous viewpoint "San Nicolas", markets, shops and restaurants are just around the corner. There is absolutely no noise around the place, the only thing we heard were the birds singing!
