This is on the top floor of an old house in the Albaicin, the old Moorish quarter of the city – but because the street is small it is quiet. The good thing about being in the Albaicin is that there is only a small hill to climb to reach the best tapas places and lookouts. The Albaicin can be confusing to wander through but there is an ancient Moorish tower right next door so the unwary does not get lost. The caretaker (brilliant Jamie) lives on the premises. Very comfortable, well equipped with a magnificent view of the /Alhambra and high Sierras from the roof. The main bedroom has a bath that is really a small swimming pool, which would be great in summer.

The apartment was located in the old district of granada which is beautiful a stroll from the mirador and the main shopping areas. The rooms were comfortable with a small rooftop terrace a view of the district and a glimpse of the alhambra. The exhaust from the aircon spoiled it a bit though. However, we greatly appreciated the air con in the apartment - a must in July! The moorish bath was oversized and took hours to fill another shower would have been better in my opinion. The fifty percent deposit demanded on booking was a bit steep - it does not conform to trip adviser rules. New sheets are needed. Overall though we had a great stay.
