“Absolutely charming flat with beautiful roof-top view”
Reviewed 12 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

This two bedroom, 1 bath flat in the old area of Albaicin is perfectly located. A 5 minute walk down cobblestoned streets leads to the Plaza Nueva - a central point for exploring Granada and an easy place to grab a taxi for our early morning trip to the train station. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked, the bedrooms cozy, and the shared living area comfortable. Outside the temperature was freezing, but inside the heaters kept us warm. Seeing Alhambra from the roof is magical. Jaime was very helpful. We would love to visit again!

Nice apartment in a very nice part of town. Only five minutes walk downhill to the city centre, and equally five minutes uphill to the very nice plaza San Miguel Bajo.

Though, the photos of the view from the rooftopterrace is a bit missleading. There is a rather big tree there who corrupts the view. And te photo is obviously taken from the staircase. So, the view is good, but not as excellent as one is left to believe.

“Overwhelming help!”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The apartment is in a wonderful location, imbued with the singular beauty of the Albaicin area. The immediate area is charming too next to a largely reconstructed old minaret (now bell tower)and a still functioning church (it was lovely but you need to see the times on the door in order to get in as times very limited) The apartment has a pleasant entrance area and there was easy access to the second floor because of the shallow steps. The apartment itself was very atmospheric and the terrace with views across to the Alhambra is enchanting. We did all our cooking so found the equipment/storage in the kitchen very minimal.
For those with mobility issues this area is challenging but it is well served by taxis that go right to the door. Also the owners carefully pointed this out beforehand. All the written information on the area received before arriving was extremely helpful.

For us the unique beauty of Granada will be for ever mingled with the extreme kindness and helpfulness and intelligence of the housekeeper, Jamie. Thank you!

“Wonderful!”
Reviewed 6 August 2017 for a stay in June 2017

A perfect location and apartment despite the steps (keeps you fit!). Jamie was a great host and the apartment is perfect- location, decor and space. Staying in this area of Granada is the best way to truly experience the Moorish heritage of the town. Get the apartment with the roof terrace- perfect at sunrise and sunset. Will be back!!

“Vintage classic convenient”
Reviewed 20 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Love the apartment! It's clean, nice beds & rooftop with nice view. The highlight is having a house caretaker (Jamie) that is living just downstairs. We didnt have to worry about early or late check-in or check-out. Jamie helped us parked our long sedan car to the garage after our stressful ordeal of driving in the super narrow lane of Albayzin area and he even offered to drive out to main street for our journey to next destination. His advice on the hop-on/off train and drinks with free tapas was helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

“Ideal traditional flat at the heart of the old City”
Reviewed 25 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Very much as advertised, the flat is ideal for 2, 3 or 4 people. The main rooms are large enough. The location is superb and its situation next to a former minaret and mosque / church is so atmospheric. Just a short downhill walk to the heart of the city. Bars and places to eat are all close at hand but not too close!
The kitchen could be better equipped and there is little space to store food so cooking has to be a little basic. The bathroom is also tight but adequate.
The roof terrace is a plus, though access is a little challenging (Not suitable for young children!).

Tile floors, wooden beams, quaint Windows and a rooftop balcony with a view of Alhambra. Walking distance to town down the hill and views of Alhambra above. Also, a church bell tower just outside for more atmosphere.
