We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied. Room was clean and cosy. Staff was very very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (at the hotels cafeteria) was good and cheap ( especially the tostada). We will definetly come back.

The hotel was a great place to stay for my husband and me. It was very close to major attractions or at least within walking distance. The bathroom was totally updated and it had a nice AC to keep the room clean. My only complaint was that the room was not ready when we got there. I think we were early but it seemed like a few others were waiting as well.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location – the room was very well-appointed for its price/class rating. Clean tile flooring, a nice wardrobe to hold your clothes and a luggage rack as well, quiet wall A/C unit, and a very large, clean modern bathroom. There were also many electrical outlets conveniently located throughout the room for charging your phone, camera, etc. Only drawback was no wi-fi access in the room, available in lobby only. Easy walk to all the Granada sights - we even walked up to the Alhambra and Albayzin. The owner/manager gave the place added charm - he’s very sweet and friendly, offered good advice when asked, spoke very good English. The attached café has a beautiful glass ceiling and lanterns, and Moorish style windows – worth seeing although we never ate there. There are two great restaurants about a 5-10 minute walk down the street, to the right of the hotel as you exit – Lizarran and the place to the left of it (can’t remember the name.) We ate at the neighboring place for breakfast, and Lizarran for dinner. Both are PACKED with locals at night - you really need to dive right in! Small glass of beer (caña) is only 70 cents and a glass of rioja only 1.20 euro. They also had a fantastic selection of montaditos and kept bringing out new options throughout the night. They somehow count up your toothpicks or something to keep track of how much you’ve eaten! The waitstaff there were amazing and friendly despite the chaotic madness going on! The café next to Lizzaran was also a great value for breakfast.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor, above the lobby and did not have a wi-fi signal. Based on other reviewer...

We arrived late night in Granada and they welcomed us with such nice smiles and we immediately felt at ease considering we just had a mishap with our luggage. Hotel Las Almenas has excellent room facilities and definitely a good location. The bus stop to and from the airport is only a few steps away. You can wander around Granada for sightseeing and/or shopping and still you will be able to walk comfortable back to the hotel. Tours to the Alhambra pick you up at the hotel making it so much easier.

We had sat nav in the car so was easier to find than I suspect it would have been without. The lady on reception did not speak great English (that is not a complaint) and we had trouble understanding where the parking was as it is an unmarked underground garage. Anyway check in smooth and parking was 16 euro I think. The reception is very nice with comfy sofas and very nice decor. The room was superb, we had a huge terrace and although this was overlooking a main road (it is a city Hotel though) it was very nice. The room was superb with really high quality fittings, flat screen TV, superb aircon, a jacuzzi bath, one of the best beds I have ever had in a hotel and very clean. The cafe next door does great continental breakfast and fresh juice, coffee and pastries and there is seating in a very nice inside courtyard.
I would recommend this Hotel.
There is a caixa bank down the road for those picking up e-tickets for the Alhambra - one word of caution for entry there is make sure you arrive on time for when your ticket says or the whlole experience will turn into a farce although it really is a stunning place to go visit.

Room Tip: The superior room with large terrace is lovely

We stayed at Las Almenas for 7 nights in late may. We picked the hotel based on earlier Tripadvisor reviews and were generally pleased with our decision. The location is perfect for those who enjoy walking to all of the attractions that the City of Granada has to offer. Our hotel experience was, for the most part, very positive. The room was not large, but efficient. Because we booked for a week, we were given one of the side rooms that did not overlook the street. As a result, we experienced very little noise. The bar/cafe attached to the hotel offered a very limited range of food/drink for breakfast/lunch. As a result, we found other facilities for all of our meals.

Room Tip: The street is very busy and can be noisy. Ask for a side room. The view may not be much, but it is...

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is in an excellent location. We walked everywhere but the Alhambra, which was too uphill for me. There is lots of shopping and many restaurants close by. The neighborhood is not exclusively touristy. The hotel room was a generous size with adequate storage. The bathroom was sizeable. The room was spotless. I did not hear noise from adjoining rooms or the hall but in the bathroom we could hear noise and smell food coming up from the breakfast room and through the airshaft window. It could not be heard or smelled from the bedroom part of the room. I understand there can be noise problems with a bar patio on the ground floor but the weather was rainy and no one was outside, so we weren't troubled. There is no internet service in the rooms. When I inquired, I was told that it worked fine in the lobby, and it did, but again, nothing in the rooms.
