Stayed for 2 nights at the end of AUgust 2010. Double room for 50 EUR per night.
Very nice stay. The Receptionist, who turned out to be the owner, was welcoming and always greeted us with a 'Hola' and smile.
We got room 308 facing the street. Clean room and bathroom. Air conditioning was a nice relief from the heat wave.
Street traffic noise might be an issue for light sleepers or those who wish to sleep until late.
2 suggestions for improvements: international TV channels would be welcome and a mini fridge would be very useful

Home away from home. Spotless. We had a lovely stay.
Don Jose was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
His recommended Flamenco tour was great. Loved the green marble floors!
Close to amenities, transport, and tourist sites.
Highly recommended.

We think that Las Almenas is a very good choice for a short break stay. Excellent location for Centre sights, bars and restaurants. Also for buses and taxis. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced each day, very comfortable bed, excellent shower. The guy on reception was so helpfull. Others have mentioned noise, well you are in the centre and we found ourselves tired after sightseeing - so not a problem to us.

Very good location close to all main tourist areas plus restaurants. 7 euro taxi to Alhambra. Very helpful staff told us all we needed to know about the city, and also gave excellent directions to the car park in which they have spaces (100m on foot - about one kilometer by car through windy streets! Cost 13 euro per day). Amazing value through booking.com. Would look nowhere else in Granada.

Nice little hotel very near the Alhambra and close by the river. Short walk to the main tourist eating and sightseeing areas. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the guy on the desk very helpful. Downside, lack of parking, public car park near by but 18 euros a day. Other than that, a very pleasent place to stay.
