This budget hotel is a little gem. Within easy walking distance of the train station and all major sites in Granada. A short block off the Gran Via. Our room with ensuite was clean & comfortable. The A/C worked well. For the price, you can't beat it.

Well what can i say the hotel and location were great and i could not fault this at all even thou the room was the smallest ever and we could not even open our suitcase because of the lack of room, but every night on our 2 night stay we were woken up at 1 am approx each morning to the sound of people out on the town shouting , singing etc till at least 5am each morning. I am only young myself and all up for a good party but this was a nitemare i hardly slept and was so tired. so my advice is that the hotel gets sound proof windows or you take ear plugs i wish i had and would not go back to this place

I was very happy with this hotel. It's in a good location - possible to walk everywhere of interest in Granada. I walked from the Alhambra to the hotel easily and to the train station with my luggage when it was time to leave.
The staff are helpful and have good English skills. Room was clean and reasonably quiet and it was also a great price. Would stay again if I came back to Granada. No breakfast facilities though.

It´s a great hotel, very close to the center but on a quiet street. Everything is brand new. The bathroom is spacious, new and perfectly clean. The room was great, with a small balcony. Not expensive at all. I really loved this place. The only cons is that they don´t have breakfast included (but there are a lot of great and cheap options near by).

This hotel is tucked away in a slightly grubby traffic-free side street off the Gran Via de Colon. Saying that, it is only a short walk to the railway station and the main attractions in the centre of the city. The service was friendly and the hotel itself was great value, clean and quiet. The only slight down side was the lack of breakfast but there was a good vending machine by the entrance to tie you over until you got to a good cafetería for something more substantial. My room had an ensuite bathroom which was almost the same size as the bedroom - not the usual tiny ones in Spanish hotels. The air conditioning was a definite bonus too in 43 degree heat.

Stayed for 2 nights during Holy Week; 20 min easy walk from train station; no problem finding it with a map;.half block from Gran Via, where lots of buses pass (including to the Alhambra), 10 min walk to Cathedral, 15 min to Plaza Nueva and sights. Don't need a car when in the city. Quiet, residential neighborhood around. Felt safe, even at night walking around. I guess the previous review says it all, except: Antonio at the counter was very nice and friendly, always there (note: Spaniards in general don't have an easy smile and tend to be 'off', but that does not mean they are not friendly). So are Italians and Europeans in general. Had toiletries in bathroom (simple, but had). Good (flat) tv reception. Had one night deposit, but paid in full with credit card when leaving. Has a snack and beverages machine in lobby (cheapest coke in Spain, one euro!!; just wait a couple of minutes before opening the can, or you'll give yourself a face spray wash, like I did! What a laugh!!).

Had breakfasts in cafeterias very close by, plenty of them in the area. Had lunch/dinner in different places around the city, where locals went; no fancy places.

Walked or took public bus to everywhere.

The Holy Week procession are an experience! So is the city. Very laid back, clean, organized.

Modern, clean, central, quiet. No character (not even a picture on the wall in our room), but you get best comfort for that price. The road is a narrow parallel of Gran Via del Colon. It's not noisy but we asked for a room at the back which is quieter. It had modern dark furniture, oak laminate flooring, good size double bed (2 single next to each other). The bathroom was 3-piece, small but functional, with good size basin and oversized shower. Reception area is small and not welcoming, and the receptionist was not particularly friendly. They require payments in advance. San Lazaro parking, recommended by the hotel, is 16.55 euros per day.
All major attractions can be reached on foot, although Alhambra was a good 30 mins walk, mostly uphill, and you may prefer a bus.
For light meals, our favourite was old Bodegas Espadafor, just around the corner (corner of Gran Via del Colon and Tinajilla) with menu only in Spanish. Try their lomo and their Spanish artisanal cider, served in bottles with funky taps.
