After a lot of tapas, we wanted Moorish food and this turned out to be our best meal in Seville. Very authentic and excellent food, friendly and efficient service, beautiful decor. We had the berber salad, vegetable couscous and the lamb & eggplant tagine - all delicious, but especially the lamb & eggplant! We wanted the pastela too, but was (correctly) advised that it would be too much. Managed to make room for pastries and mint tea - well worth it.
The restaurant is on a quiet road, so unless you're looking for it, you won't just come across it. We went to look for it on a Monday and they were closed, so decided to call and return on Tuesday - we are so glad we did! It was our last evening in Seville and we are so happy to have spent it at Al-Medina.
