“Very nice option - lovely location”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

I spent 3 nights at Hotel Sevilla. The hotel is located in the El Centro area - just two streets away from the beginning of the shopping streets leading to the cathedral and other attractions. Perfect location because you are in the centre of Seville but you are in a "real" area rather than in a touristic area. El Centro is full of places with cafes and tapas bars. The hotel itself is situated on a lovely place (with a church, cafes and orange trees). The hotel bedrooms have been refurbished recently (the bathroom was a bit older but very clean though). Our bedroom was massive with a lovely small balcony. Hotel staff are friendly. For 85 euros, it was a very good choice.

This hotel is very well situated in the old part of Seville and is beautiful inside, but you will be lucky to get a good night’s sleep on a hot or warm night mainly because it seems that the hotel turns the air-conditioning off around 1am and there is no fan to keep the room or you cool, hard beds do not help. The rooms and shower toilet were very clean as seems typical of Spanish hotels.
Older reception staff do not speak any English and rattle off at you in Spanish knowing you cannot understand them.

Room Tip: Se if you can get one with a balcony

We loved this hotel and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to beautiful Sevilla. Our room was spacious, very elegant and spotlessly clean, with a characterful balcony overlooking one of Seville's more laid-back squares. The bed was excellent and so was the bathroom, with everything you could need, nicely designed and well finished. The Hotel itself is full of appealing spaces and decor, very luxurious but also welcoming. There is a nice atrium/garden and beautiful lounge/reception; all scattered with items of beauty and interest. The breakfast is a first class buffet, which we made into a 3 course affair, and the coffee - made to order, by a very attentive and friendly waiter -is amongst the best I have had anywhere. On our last day the Reception happily looked after our cases whist we did a full days sightseeing, before returning for a spell to relax in the lounge, use the guest bathroom and freshen up. Its a 20 minute walk to the train station from here. The location is perfect for a sightseeing trip, you feel 'in the action' in a very genuine part (the square is lovely and used by locals) but as its tucked away, its nice and quiet at night. Setting out on foot, a couple of minutes will get you right into the historic centre. I would say this is a mid-price hotel (we paid approx 80 euros per night, with breakfast for 2 bringing it to 90 euros per night) but given the high quality, we were very impressed. Enjoy Sevilla!

The hotel´s staff are ok and the hotel is in a good location.

Now the negative! The rooms are tiny compared with other places I have stayed in recently. The rooms are very dark because all rooms surround a central atrium. One of the bulbs didn´t work and the shower fitting was held in place with a loose plastic fitting so you could not shower hands free. The plumbing is noisy as well. When somebody has a shower or flushes the toilet the whole floor knows it!

At 50 Euros a night (prepaid), it was not exactly the deal of the year. They also charge for use of internet which I have not experienced in Ronda, Granada or Cordoba!

Look elsewhere as Seville is full of hotels.

Hotel Sevilla is a good value for its price... its not incredibly close to the city center, but it is easily walkable and you get a better price for being slightly farther away. Also, the rooms were fantastic. They were definitely the largest rooms that we stayed at in Europe at this price range, so it would be a good place to spend a few days with room to spread out! In addition, I found the staff to be very helpful with recommendations of sights to see for those on a tighter itinerary.

Not the greatest, but very decent for a good price.

Clean, enough space (though not ballroomlike), friendly staff, decent breakfast at 5 euro's.

You can walk to every part of Sevilla in 2 to 20 minutes. Really central. Parking nearby at 17€/24h. Pay at reception for this price!

Cold refreshments and beer for sale at reception. 1€/each

Room Tip: There's a square in front. I don't know how this is in summer, but in oktober it's fairl...

Paid 110 EUR for 2 nights, double room breakfast included
The hotel is located in a very romantic little square in front of a church. Rooms very clean and bathroom large, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was just great, variate and quality.
Sleep quality just perfect. It was well heat although in night was cold outside.
The hotel is located in historic area, just 10-15 min walking of Seville Cathedral.
The only minus is parking. Be aware that hotel is located in a pedestrian surrounded by some very tight street, so finding a place for parking could be a little adventure.
I was very lucky to find one of the few available place on a street around. Else hotel has a deal with an underground parking situated 5 min walking from the hotel on a price of 17 EUR/day if I remember well.
