Stopped for lunch here. Well located at the end of the Square with ample opportunity to people watch. Service was helpful and relaxed. Pizza was best I have had in a long time and the choice to share rather than have individual ones was a good one. Positives - pizza, staff. Negatives - perhaps a bit slow if you are in a hurry but I felt relaxed and welcomed. Toilets very clean but why do all Spanish restaurants seem to have the smallest restrooms on the planet no matter the size of the establishment?

the best burgers I've ever had. The restaurant is located in the Alameda de Hércules, really good location and Coco the chef is an amazing guy!

Had lovely breakfasts here each morning but they need more staff. The service is very, very slow. We waited 30 minutes for the bill on the last day and we were rushing to catch the train. Such a pity becuase the staff are very friendly and food id delicious.

Lovely atmosphere and very very busy. Visited a few times in January 2012, as it was just across from where I was staying. The wine list is extensive and the staff are very knowledgeable (Spanish helps, a lot).

The plaza itself is a lovely place to sit and relax, and I managed to spend a couple of hours enjoying the winter sun and a few glasses of a really delicious white wine that I couldn't find in any liquor stores.

The pizzas are very good, and the desserts are also delicious. Prices also were very reasonable (especially for alcohol, of course). Free wifi was also appreciated.

Walking out of our great hotel, the Patio de la Alameda, into our first day time view of Alameda de Hercules was a bit of a culture shock. We were hungry and so decided to sit down at the outdoor tables of the closest cafe - Badulaque. Glad we did. Great coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice was consumed a few other mornings in the week we were there. Very little English spoken and eyes were rolled at the turista's efforts at Spanish - but that is all part of the fun/experience...
