“Great location”
Reviewed 31 May 2011

You have to do the checkin/checkout at the 3* parent hotel at about 80m from the entrance of this one as there is no permanent reception here. There is no restaurant in the hotel but with a 10min walk you can find plenty of restaurants/tapas bars.

As for the positive things:
- The location is great as it's very central and you can go to every part of the city center walking (attractions, bars, museums, ...)
- The rooms have been refurbished recently, the decoration is modern with color themed rooms. The single room was small but new with a good bed (good mattress), a large shower and sink as well as a TV and air conditioning (a must-have in Seville) You can access your room with an elevator and there is free wifi.
- The people handling the checkin/checkout spoke good English.
- A 'The Tourist' magazine was conveniently available in the room.
- The breakfast was a self-service active from 7.30am to 11am and was handy.
- The room was cleaned every day and sheets and towels changed each day.
- You can access your room with your card 24/7 and don't need to face a receptionist.

As for the less positive things in my experience:
- There was no window on the street in the room I was in but only on the inside patio so you couldn't really tell if it was still night or day.
- There was no information available in the room itself for simple things: how to use the phone, how much did it cost, how to call the reception (the one at the parent hotel as there is none in this hotel), ...
- The air conditioning worked but seemed to have difficulties to maintain a constant temperature: on several occasions, I woke up freezing in the room and had to stop it (even though it was set at 25-28C)
- You have to insert your access card in a slot and leave it there to have some current: this means you can't leave something charging when you're off your room. I'm not sure of the rationale as the AC could be left on (and an AC eats way more electric power than a light or a TV...)
- The phonic isolation of the room I was in (from the sounds coming from the patio) was not that great. As there was no receptionist and nothing to enforce the schedule rules for breakfast, some "smart" customers got the idea to run the very noisy coffee machines and have their breakfast in the night (4.30am...) or talk loudly in the patio or slam the entrance door when they got in... [glad I had some ear plugs available]

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay (location, location, location as they say :-) but it could have been better.

A very nice hotel with a 'boutique' feel. Everything was modern, new and, very importantly, clean! You need to check in at its sister hotel round the corner but it only takes a minute to get there so isn't particularly inconvenient. We were lucky to get a room with a huge window (the orange room) which gave us a privileged view of the Semana Santa procession further down the street. The only negative is that the frosted glass bathroom door doesn't provide as much privacy as I would have liked. May not be ideal for new couples ;)

This hotel was a different experience since there was no reception and it was more or less a self check in. It is unusual that they ask you to go to their 3 * hotel nearby for the room key etc but once you are in its fine. The rooms are clean and well maintained and there is a very basic breakfast available which consists of bread, butter, cake, juice and coffee.Overall its good value for money and I think quite ideal for single travellers. The hotel is also located 10 minutes from the cathedral(worth a see) Alcázar and Archivo de Indies. Anyway I would recommed for a decent no frills stay.

I had a good stay in this hotel which is basically new. The room was small but modern and equipped with all facilities including a/c. The hotel as already stated does not have a reception - check in has to be done in another hotel which is nearby. Breakfast is self service and is made only of a coffee machine, juice and some bread/toast. Room was cleaned and new towels provided everyday. The location is in the centre so you can walk to all major attractions but the city centre is quite small anyway.

The hotel was very clean and excellent value for money. Rooms were modern and a good size. The location of the hotel was about 10-15 minutes walk to Cathedral and 10-15 walk to Maracena Church. Was an excellent base for touring Seville. Very helpful staff especially allowing us to use the internet late at night during ash cloud crisis.

this hotel is in under construction but is open. Because of this not have a receptión and not have the people necesary that usually are in the hotel. when you come you habe to go to the other hotel called "Casona san andres" to cheking and later go to this hotel.they give me a lot of problems of noise and the hotel is very dirty because no body go to clean it. it is like they use the same people to clean the other hotel and this hotel. If you can, better get a other hotel that is finish and complete service and not one that is open before is finish.

Place is new and run by a nearby 3 star hotel. Some items in room still had stickers on them.

First off there are no signs for this hotel just the building number, and the area can be a little hard to navigate with the streets. Have the building number and a map of the area before you go.

Location: It is 2 blocks from the El Corte Inglés departments store, under 10 mins from the plaza Neuvo. As such there are alot of restaurants/bars that serve tapas and food at all times and at better then the tourist distinct prices, just don't expect much english. Since this is the main area for the evening stroll the area has a lot of foot traffic. A local bus stop and a taxi stand, they were there early in the morning, are at the department store. Street with the hotel was well lite, had some business open late, couples walking around and the occasional car or bus.

The hotel is super clean and well kept up, as mentioned it is new. Room had AC and heating, had plenty of hot water and was quiet. It is a 2 star hotel, run at 3 star levels. There was a person at the reception desk at night if needed at other times you might need to go to the other hotel, 2 blocks away, to check in. Room have fake wood floors and the beds were comfortable. Only noise were the occasional people walking up the stairs on the stone(marble) with hard soles, elevator is available.

Breakfast was a hot drinks and toast. There are local bakeries that make it easy to pick up some additional the night before.

Overall a excellent 2 star hotel. If you don't need the full time receptionist, and just a good clean place to sleep, clean up, and store your luggage this is it.
