“Amazing Boutique Hotel”
Reviewed 15 May 2013 via mobile

Wow. First small boutique hotel to 'get about everything right'.
Stunning design, without sacrificing service, functionality and overall quality. Congratulations to the front desk team. They truly cared and gave fantastic recommendations on about eveything from dining, entertainment and things to do. Room was very well designed, top finishes, outstanding bedding. Will be back!

We stayed 2 nights and fully enjoyed nearly every feature of the hotel. The rooms were modern and well appointed (although the shower required directions). Breakfast was good with some local favorites. Tapas can be ordered anytime from the patio courtyard--or anywhere you wish and there were great choices to enjoy. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only downside is the location being in the outskirts of the city central that will require keen navigation skills and comfortable walking shoes (everything is 15-20 minute walk). Even that being said, stay at the Alma Sevilla it's a wonderful extravagance well worth every euro.

We could just stay 2 nights but we did enjoy the hotel. Having been renewed recently guests can enjoy modernity in an ancient place. Service is excellent. Nothing to complain about. À true luxury hotel.

We stayed here for two nights in May. Its location in the old part is ideal for exploring the city. Our welcome was very professional as was the service. The only let down was our room (number 12 on the ground floor). Although well furnished and comfortable, it was incredibly dark with "Mood" lighting which could not be increased, dark furniture and dark walls. It was a struggle to read at times. When asked to remedy the situation, we were told that the hotel was full but they did put an additional lamp stand in the room which made very little difference at around 25w output.
The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and very high quality food. We only spent about an hour on the roof terrace which was clean although a little sparse. This could be a perfect hotel if these concerns are addressed.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms 12 and 13

This hotel was lovely - it's a shame we were only in Seville for 1 night.
The hotel was down a narrow one way street and hard to find ( thank goodness for satnav). From the outside it doesn't look like anything but as soon as you are inside there is a wow factor with the columns and courtyard.
They parked the car for us and made us welcome.
The room was light and airy. Being a bath fan I had to try the massive bath and it was brilliant - although the shower looked brilliant too - lots of heads. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
We had a complimentary bottle of cava which we took outside and drank which was lovely.
The little touches made it extra special like the complimentary mini bar in the room - exactly what you need on a hot day! Also the wifi throughout the hotel. The whole experience was lovely.

This seems like a perfect boutique hotel. If you're looking for a quiet place but in the heart of the city then this is the place to be. The rooms are gorgeous with very comfortable bedding and a fabulous shower room. The best part which we liked was the courtyard or the patio with the cozy, warm seating under the open sky- an ideal place to hang around reading a book or basking in the sun or sipping some tea. The hotel also has wifi access at all locations. The staff is courteous and helpful. We only didn't have any meals at the hotel restaurant as the menu was very limited for vegetarian and there were not many people at the restaurant. We also didn't use the spa or the pool as that appeared basic for a 5 star. Nonetheless, highly recommended place to stay, particularly for a couple.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in old part of Seville. Very pleasant staff who could not do enough for us. Bedroom (deluxe) was very modern with amazing shower. Our friends came with and their room smelt of smoke but the staff offered to move them immediatley.
If driving take sat nav. It took us there in the end! Hotel parks your car for you so no problems there.
Fabulous breakfast for 20 euros with everything on.
Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to try another Alma hotel.

Room Tip: Go for deluxe on 3rd floor.
