This is a great boutique hotel. First off, our room was large, beautiful and had great design elements. Really everything that you would want in a room, from comfortable beds to great showers (multiple shower heads), getting all the large and small details right. In additon, the service was very friendly and helpful, and my wife loved the roof terrace and plunge pool. The location has its plusses and minuses, as it is a 10-15 minute walk to the main sites, but once you get your bearings and learn the maze of streets, it becomes quite easy. We thought it was absolutely the right choice for Seville and would highly recommend.

This peaceful boutique hotel used to be a palace...and it's obvious. In addition, the way it's been reworked as a hotel is pretty substantial and everything has been beautifully executed. We had a room on the top floor [there are only 3 floors] and it was heaven. This is one hotel we literally cannot wait to go back to. Our summary:

PROS:
• Aesthetics...this place is absolutely stunning. Extremely well-designed from the top up, inside out. And we're posting pictures to prove it!
• Service...the best service in any hotel we've ever stayed at. I [the wife] was battling a full-blown cold the entire time we were in Seville, so of course I spent a lot of time trying to recover in our room. The staff knew this, and was super attentive and kind.
• Room...we stayed in a Grand Deluxe room, which was divided up into a bedroom on one side and a living room on the other. Separated by an enormous heavy curtain, the bathroom was large with double sinks and two sets of bathrobes/slippers. And both of the large windows in the room could be opened to let in the breeze.
• Amenities...the mini-fridge in the living room cabinet was filled with drinks of all kinds...ALL FREE. The best part is, the staff replenishes the fridge EVERYDAY. We had plenty of free water, soda and orange juice throughout our stay!
• Location...it's tucked away a bit from the main tourist area where the Cathedral is, but it's only a 15 minute walk to it [and a lovely walk at that] and just 8 minutes more will take you to the river.
• Grounds...the first thing you see when you enter is the grand front lobby patio. Take a seat at any of the cozy seating nooks and you're instantly relaxed. Walk towards the back of the property and you'll find a garden patio, double-tiered, with more intimate seating areas. Before you reach the garden patio however you'll walk past the small, dramatic sunken library, complete with a Mac [not a PC!!] for your free use. And finally, a rooftop lounge with a small dipping pool is also at your disposal.

CONS:
• None. At least for us. Seriously.

We have three night from Apr 22, 2013 to Apr 25, in Alma Sevilla, Sevilla. Great experience.

Once we have entered the entrance, the Receptions gave us a very warm welcome.

Service: Perfect.

Lccation: Great location. From station Santa Justa to the hotel, you can take bus to Plaza de Leon, and take less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. There are several restaurants or tapas recommended by LP and Tripadvisor near the hotel within limited walk distances.

Room: The light is a little Dark, however we like the decoration of the hotel. In addition, all the drink in your mini bar is Free!

Room Price:Reasonable price for a ★★★★★ hotel.

Dis: 20euros for the breakfast is a little expensive.

Room Tip: Enjoy your mini bar.

Wow. First small boutique hotel to 'get about everything right'.
Stunning design, without sacrificing service, functionality and overall quality. Congratulations to the front desk team. They truly cared and gave fantastic recommendations on about eveything from dining, entertainment and things to do. Room was very well designed, top finishes, outstanding bedding. Will be back!

We stayed 2 nights and fully enjoyed nearly every feature of the hotel. The rooms were modern and well appointed (although the shower required directions). Breakfast was good with some local favorites. Tapas can be ordered anytime from the patio courtyard--or anywhere you wish and there were great choices to enjoy. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only downside is the location being in the outskirts of the city central that will require keen navigation skills and comfortable walking shoes (everything is 15-20 minute walk). Even that being said, stay at the Alma Sevilla it's a wonderful extravagance well worth every euro.

We could just stay 2 nights but we did enjoy the hotel. Having been renewed recently guests can enjoy modernity in an ancient place. Service is excellent. Nothing to complain about. À true luxury hotel.

We stayed here for two nights in May. Its location in the old part is ideal for exploring the city. Our welcome was very professional as was the service. The only let down was our room (number 12 on the ground floor). Although well furnished and comfortable, it was incredibly dark with "Mood" lighting which could not be increased, dark furniture and dark walls. It was a struggle to read at times. When asked to remedy the situation, we were told that the hotel was full but they did put an additional lamp stand in the room which made very little difference at around 25w output.
The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and very high quality food. We only spent about an hour on the roof terrace which was clean although a little sparse. This could be a perfect hotel if these concerns are addressed.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms 12 and 13
