We stayed in Superior Rooms in Casa 1800. The location of the hotel is excellent, near many restaurants, the Cathedral and Alcazar. We enjoyed the daily tea time. My only complaint was the nightly noise from the bar across the street. Try to get higher floors, and splurge on the deluxe rooms if available.

We enjoyed a really quiet stay here, just around the corner from dozens of restaurants and bars, and the cathedral and alcazar. The staff were friendly and efficient and our room was perfect. We slept well and had everything we needed - the complimentary afternoon tea in the patio/lounge was a bonus!

We upgraded from a standard room to a superior room for €20, only because the ground floor room we were originally assigned had no external window - instead the window opened onto the internal patio and I was worried that notice would be a problem. As it turned out, we were very happy with our decision.

A lovely stay and we would happily return.

We stayed at Hotel Casa 1800 for three nights in mid-June 2014, and thought it was great. Fabulous location, a short block from the cathedral and the Jewish Quarter, walking distance to all tourist sights/food/shopping, Las Columnas (a traditional tapas bar) is right outside the front door. Staff was very helpful in person (info, made dinner reservations, sold stamps, stored bags, etc), and responsive via e-mail when I re-confirmed our 3 month prior Hotels.com reservation in the week before we traveled. The decor is beautiful, a chic renovation of a traditional courtyard house. Rooms are a bit small by US standards but quite pleasant; no complaints. Ours was on the ground floor right adjacent to the courtyard lounge, but this didn't prove to be any problem at all relative to noise or privacy. Hotel Casa 1800 lives up to its 4-star billing. We made use of the €9 breakfast on 2 of our 3 mornings, and found it good (but not spectacular) value for money. We hit the free afternoon tea twice also, which was a nice respite from a heat wave. We then traveled to Granada and stayed at their sister hotel there with a similar great location, and were similarly pleased. We'd stay at both locations again in a heartbeat.

Located at end of backstreet just steps from main tourist attractions. Stayed in duplex room with rooftop spa. Lovely views at sunset. Room bit noisy sometimes from pub in street but closed French doors bring silence. Reasonable selection for breakfast and afternoon tea in quiet central atrium. Reception and concierge very helpful with local recommendations. Would happily stay here again.

Can't imagine a better location in Seville; in the heart of historical center. Walking distance to all the sights as well as to restaurants, bars, shops, shows. Nice comfortable rooms with attention paid to detail. Internet works well. Otherwise this is a no frills hotel. There is one lounge area which also serves as breakfast room. There is nobody to carry the luggage, and breakfast is self service from a tiny service room. But somehow it works. They also have complimentary tea time service in the afternoons. Available parking is not so near.
