Not being a religious person, I was left in awe as I approached this fantastic building from one of the many side streets of Seville. The entry price of 8 euros was well worth the money. Once inside I was constantly being pleasantly surprised by the structure and the art contents, and a climb up the tower is well worth the effort to view the whole of Seville. The tower has 34 levels of ramps to get to the top with the last bit being about 8 steps to get to the viewing balcony. BUT WHAT A VIEW.
Would definitely recommend a visit to the Cathedral for everybody.

Again so lucky to not have to wait long in the queue , the inside was amazing and so much to see, the trip up e tower was easy and well worth the walk, as it was just ramps and very was very way to negotiate! The coolness of the plaza outside was very welcome Nd the coffee. Shops outside the area were really good and cheap as well with good coffee!

My family and I loved the Seville Cathedral but somehow it lacked the 'wow' factor of several other cathedrals we've visited. Florence's Duomo; St. Paul's in London; Notre-Dame in Paris; these (to name but three) all had more instant - almost theatrical - impact. That said, we were all thrilled by the beauty of this building. It has many utterly unique features and the bell tower is definitely worth the climb.

I have seen a handful of impressive cathedrals and churches around Europe, but this is definitely in it's own league!

Do not miss this attraction when you are in Seville!
You will get three attractions out of this. The cathedral itself, the Giralda tower and Christopher Columbus' sarcophagus.

The cathedral itself is jawn dropping with it's enormous pillars and height inside. The decorations are fantastic, and the handcraft is so impressive. Imagine building this over 800 years ago!
A visit to the Giralda tower will really get your legs streched as there is no elevator. Walk the slope all the way up to the top. No stairs make this an easy walk.

And don't forget to pay your respects in front of Christopher Columbus' impressive sarcophagus.

Definitely worth a visit!

We did a day trip to Seville it was well worth it. We were picked up at 8.00 am and had a 25min break along the way at lovely service stn. for toilet break and refreshments. Spotlessley clean and everything you needed. When we arrived at seville we were broken into groups with other guides and taken up to jewish quarters where we were given the whole history and then on to the cathedral which was absolutely breathtaking. We then had 3 hrs. free time to do some shopping and have lunch. There was a choice to take a boat tour for 1hr. or go shopping. We opted for shopping as it was another €28.00 on top of the €96.00 we already paid for the tour, this was for two people. All in all we enjoyed our trip to Seville.
