A wonderful place to ramble about in. We didn't mind getting lost in the courtyards and corridors, it added to the fun. We were happy to spend hours sitting in different places in the complex of wonderful buildings and courtyard. We were there 6 days.
We had booked a Superior room, but when we arrived we found our room 228 to smell badly of damp. Reception said that the aircon would take care of that...but as it didn't work we couldn't prove that! It was also too noisy from the street outside (even though it was pedestrianised). The next morning we were upgraded at no extra charge to room 31, Junior Suite, which was perfect.
Breakfast was fine, although coffee from a machine is disappointing. Also, it's expensive. 19 euros is robbery; they offer you 12 euros a day if you sign up for every day which is still a lot, especially if you have to take a picnic version (as we did on a day we left early for a tour).
