Really enjoyed staying here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the previous reviewers was moaning about finding the Hotel and parking, well it couldn't be easier using Google Maps and the Hotel staff will drive you to the underground car park 2 minutes away and park the car for you and this costs only €20 per night. Lovely ornate Restaurant. Rooftop swimming pool was super and had a bar too. Room was charming and had its own private courtyard. Spa bath in the room was fantastic and left us feeling rejuvenated. Will definitely return. Great location with easy walking to historical sights and Santa Cruz area which is vibrant at night with Tapas bars. Go here - you won't be disappointed.

We drove into Seville in the evening and were unable to find the hotel even after asking many locals. They rolled their eyes and said it was complicated. Finally, we were lucky enough to find a young guy on a motorbike who walked me a couple of blocks to find the hotel.
I explained to Reception that we spent 1 hour driving around looking for the hotel - very frustrating. They sent a guy to meet my husband and our friends at the car and took it to the carpark underground. They came back to the hotel on foot. Hotel was not far from the carpark, but the hotel website must give instructions to those who book, as to how to handle arrival by car.
In addition, the gentleman who brought the suitcases to the hotel and then to our rooms, was very rough, both physically and mentally. Not a pleasant experience.
On top of this, we were offered a room with no window to the outside. Our window faced onto a courtyard walkway where people pass by, so we could not comfortably keep the window curtain open. All the above turned me off this hotel. I was unable to enjoy the special qualities it has.
An added note: The person who parked the car, or took it out of the carpark, had an accident in the garage (such small spaces) and we did not notice it until we left the hotel. We now are being charged by the car Rental company for this.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room with a window facing out to the outside.

We were charmed by this lovely old hotel, full of hidden passages, patios and historic beauty.
The roof top pool provided a cooling relief from the seriously hot August sun.
Once the attention of staff was secured, drinks promptly followed. We didn't eat at the hotel as the draw of the street life is only 2 minutes away.

Overall a good hotel in a great location pretty close to the cathedral. However, it was a bit dark and dreary. The only way to make our way to the rooms which were at the back end of the property was through a long series of tunnels and steps, which, while interesting in their own way...were a bit damp and depressing. Was also an issue with a baby stroller (had to leave that at the front desk every time) and elderly parents with knee problems. The rooms themselves were comfortable though not luxurious. Inadequate sunlight. Given the choice, I would not stay here again... though I was not disappointed or uncomfortable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My family has been coming for years when they visit the city. The room we had was clean, spacious with a large bathroom. The beds are a little hard but this is something we encountered all over Europe. Wifi is spotty due to the fact that this is several houses connected with tunnels spread over a city block. The different buildings are connected with little walkways, garden, and underground grotto walks. Charming. My only complaint is the breakfast coffee. The breakfast spread is very complete with fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, eggs and cereal. The coffee comes from a machine and there is always a line. A small detail that maybe they will fix. All in all, a wonderful stay!

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel and I'd definetly recommend it. It's walking distance from all the main attractions of Seville; the rooms are ok. The one I stayed was big enough for two people, the bathroom was fine and the breakfast was delicious. Thee staff was very helpful. The only thing I have to say is about the reception room which is poorly decorated. The furniture seems to be run down. Mind you, this the first impression one has of a hotel which in this case doesn't correspond to the reality. A revamp would be welcome.

Room Tip: Stay near the internal garden so that you won't have to find your room using a map.

While this hotel is quaint the amenities are lacking. We booked two rooms, four nights and were excited about our stay. But......you need to be sure footed around this hotel. There are cobblestone paths throughout which lend to the charm but gets old after a day. As does the wifi that is only available in the reception area. In addition the lack of adequate air conditioning in the rooms is an issue. we choose the breakfast and I wish I knew the exact price included with our rate as the food on the buffet is probably worth 5 euros. And the staff in the morning is adequate nothing special.

Overall, the location is prime! There are many other hotels to choose from as this one is not that clean, amenities are not up-to par for the rating. Be careful about what you really want as the winding walkways lose their charm in 24 hours, the lack of air, the adequate staff for the price and the lack of wifi is a real issue. Buena suerte
