“Atmospheric and relaxing”
Reviewed 2 September 2014

Excellent location - 10 min walk from the cathedral. Quirky, attractive hotel with a lovely courtyard area to relax in. We had a superior room which was spacious and nicely furnished with a large bathroom and separate shower. The air conditioning was effective once we had called reception to sort it out.
We didn't have breakfast as there are so many options in the numerous cafés close by. It looked a good option though and cost 12 euros with plenty of fresh fruit, cheese, meet, eggs etc.
The reception staff were, in general polite, but do not go out of their way to be helpful. However because of its location, attractive decor and relaxing atmosphere we would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you like space, choose a superior room.

This historical hotel is a warren of halls and corners. It truly represents the history of being a small barrio where Jews lived in as much anonymity as they could fine. Rooms were comfortable and the staff was very helpful. It was a quite retreat from the city center and just an 8 minute walk to the main plaza!

Room Tip: You really don't want to select a room that borders an active street.

My husband and I recently took a Trafalgar tour of Spain. One of the highlights of our trip was our stay here. It was billed in the tour description as a unique experience and it exceeded our expectations. Each room is different and tastefully appointed to keep the atmosphere. We had a lovely corner room with a sitting area and two different views of the courtyard below. The lobby and dining room were beautifully appointed as well. You easily get lost but that was fun and you discovered new areas each time. There is a rooftop pool and patio area with a spectacular view of the city. Las Casas is an excellent location as well. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby and it is within walking distance of many of the main attractions. Seville was one our favourite stops on the tour and our stay at Las Casas definitely remains one of the top memories
of our visit to this fabulous city.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks a courtyard for lovely views and a quiet atmosphere.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Seville with my teenage daughter. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted to do. Our twin room as spacious offering both a seating area, walk-in dressing room/closet, bathroom with a large shower and bath. There were numerous little courtyards to sit in and relax. The bonus was the roof top pool with bar and towel service. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. The hotel is situated close to main attractions and it was easy to walk to the cathedral in just a few minutes. There are numerous bars and street cafes near by. We did not use the Spa however prices seemed very reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend. The only downside was getting used to the walk through the tunnels at the end of an exhausting day.

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the value rooms which meant you had quite a walk through the underground tunnels...

Booked this hotel because it was within walking distance of cathedral and other attractions and because it sounded different in its layout to other hotels. It did not disappoint with its little courtyards, tunnels, array of flowers, You can get lost in this maze of alleys but we enjoyed this aspect - so different to modern hotels. Yes it needs a lick of paint but we asked for one of the more modern rooms - not sure if we got one but it was spacious (tho the double bed was two singles together sadly), had a rainforest type shower, a jacuzzi bath, a safe and a whole range of bathroom accessories. There is a roof top pool with good views and a basement spa (costs extra) at the end of a roman/greek tunnel (say no more). For 12 euros each we had breakfast ( fresh fruit, superb danish pastries, bread, ham, cheese and eggs and bacon) - good value and set us up for the day. Staff were polite and helpful.
This is a quirky, atmospheric hotel and if you want something different, it's worth giving it a try.

Room Tip: Ask for a modern room (one that's been recently redecorated).

We lived in Madrid many years ago and were lucky to be able to visit many of the countries wonderful beautiful cities and towns. Seville in particular held fond memories. We thought we would revisit one particular favourite hotel, we were not disappointed. It has hardly changed, Charming, friendly, a labyrinth of a place. There is now a spa in the basement, we did not use it as there is so much to see. I would advice anyone looking for a romantic, peaceful destination to book now. Silly us though chose the hottest time of the year and even by Seville standards it was hot. Still the air conditioning was excellent, the ice cold gin and tonics on the roof by the pool after 6pm refreshing. Only annoying note was the perpetual noise emmitting from the dinning room, Viennesse waltzy smaltzy, what is wrong with fabulous Spanish miusic? Flamenco for goodness sake!

A hotel located in the historic centre of Seville, close to Cathedral and a park. It is a very unusual place to stay. Hotel has its own heritage and is full of history. You can see that it was opened and managed with love. The hotel is full of corridors under the ground level and full of different courtyards. There is a Spa with Thermal water swimming pool. The cost is 24 euris for 90 minutes,
On the roof you can find a swimming pool (open from 12:00 to 21:00) and a pool bar (open from 14:00). Also you can get pool towels next to the pool from 14:00. There is a restaurant in one of the courtyards, food is good and not expensive, service is good. It open the whole day. Unfortunately WIFI is available only in public areas. Parking in the hotel costs 20 euros per day.

If I will come to Seville again I will stay in Las Casas de la Juderia, because it different from other hotels!
