“Time of my life!”

After living for many years in Spain and moving back to my own country, I was finally able to see it through the relaxed eyes of a tourist. The hotel was fantastic! The staff were beyond helpful and even offered me to bring down my laptop to the front desk to see why I wasn't getting the WiFi connection. The room was spectacular (we got a suite)! The hotel is VERY centrally located. After a few nights of incredible food and a full moon over the Giralda, this was the best trip I've ever taken.

Room Tip: I would strongly suggest getting either a junior suite or a suite. They both come with all the same...

Just returned from a 4 night stay, from the outside the hotel does not look inviting, but once through the doors, couldn't be more different! Lovely spacious room, very clean hotel, reasonable buffet breakfast. 15 minute walk to the centre, but in our view that's a good thing, as we then chose to eat near the hotel in the evening, giving a different, & better eating experience than in the centre, as we ate with the locals.

We have just returned after an 8 night stay at the Hesperia. We booked a room-only deal through lastminute.com and thought that overall it was very good value for money.
Room was large and very clean, with good shower and air con. As others have mentioned, wifi is a bit dodgy and you will need a new log in every 3 days. Very close to the metro (10mins to centre of Seville) and taxis later at night were also cheap.
We had room service one evening which was surprisingly good and very quick.
Housekeeping staff were very friendly, although those on reception were sometimes a bit abrupt.
Car parking on site - 15Euros/day which does mount up, but I definitely wouldn't want to risk parking on the street! On that note - a word of caution if you are going to be driving in Seville...it's pretty scary! We live in central London but I've never seen driving like it and the road signs are invariably misleading. Would recommend a detailed map (showing one way streets/no left turns etc) or hire a sat nav to maintain your sanity.
If you don't have breakfast included, can thoroughly recommend the little café across the road from the hotel (Ochoa) - super friendly staff, lovely selection of pastries and excellent coffee.
Seville itself is beautiful (Cathedral and Alcazar must be seen!) and we had some fantastic meals - to name a few:
Bar Enrique Becerra (Calle Gamazo, just off Plaza Nueva) - best meal we had, upstairs in the restaurant. Quite pricey but worth every euro.
Bodega Belmonte (Calle Mateos, Triana) - delicious tapas and caught an impromptu flamenco show.
Bar Giralda (Calle Mateos - on the cathedral square) - perfect views of the cathedral of an evening
We would also recommend visiting Ronda, Italica (Roman ruins) and the beach at Magazon (around 1hr30 drive but so quiet!) if you have time.

Having used Hesperia in Barcelona and Cordoba, we chose to follow the same path and did not regret it.
The outside of the building is somewhat bland, but the front entrance and internally it is pleasantly decorated and well furnished.
Conveniently located to local transport and shops/restaurants, it is also about a 15 minute walk from the outskirts of the city.
Adequate bedroom with good air conditioning, and a nice bathroom.
Excellent breakfast at a reasonable price, with the only drawback experienced being the lack of knowledge of English by one waiter. The menu (in English) states poached eggs being available to order from the staff, and for the first two days this worked well - on the second day the waiter even remembered what we ordered and asked if we would like the same, but on the third day (different staff) the order produced two very cold of the hard boiled variety. Reiterating what we wanted produced an 'ah you want poached' response but ten minutes later I got two soft boiled - although very tasty once the shell had been removed!
Wi-Fi free but poor except in reception area, and despite two desktop PC's being provided in the lounge area neither worked when I tried them.
Helpful and friendly staff, although other food and drink prices in café and restaurant a little high. There was, however, a lack of information in the room about the services available except for a brief mention of the health spa. I did not use this.
Overall, a hotel I could recommend as 3/4 *.

Room Tip: Overlooking the back car park meant little noise until people started departing in the morning, but...

We had three nights at this hotel found all the staff to be very friendly and happy to be able to help. Our room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom again was spacious bright and very clean. Breakfast was very good ample choice with hot options cooked fresh to order and to a good standard, after the first morning the waiter came and asked if I wanted any hot options. I also found the bar prices very fair eg 1.2eur for a beer.,

First off, the Maître of the breakfast team is a shining example for all Spanish hotel personnel. Bilingual Spanish / English, great service, speedy and immediate responsive to all tourists. Whichever hotel hires this guy is sure to get good grades from all tourists. Handles his team excellently. To be recommended.

Seville is conservative Catholic and beautiful, meaning everything is expensive. I choose to stay on a Tuesday night to pay less and still ended up paying more than anywhere else. In any case, good hotel, great room, only the Wifi a bit off.

We stayed at the Hesperia for about 5 nights in March 2014. We were with our 18 month old daughter and had booked a suite. Everything was just great : the room was extremely spacious and we really enjoyed the balcony. The street were the hotel is located is very busy but it's not a problem when you're inside the room.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel but used the room service and it really was of high quality. (same food as in the cafetaria below the hotel : very fresh !).
Finally, the big bonus of this hotel is the staff : everybodi was extremely helpful especially when our daughter got sick and we had to find a doctor on a Sunday.
I totally recommend this hotel and would most definitely come back there.
