We have stayed at this hotel 8 or 9 times. We visit Seville one or twice a year and mostly stay here.
It is very easy to get to off the motorway being just outside the main city. About a 20 to 30 minute walk into the centre for all the touristy stuff and the shopping. Triana is a relatively quite part of the city, few tourists, no hustle. Several small bars and restaurants in the area.
Onstreet parking is limited in Seville so we always use the garage at 10 Euro a night - booking is required as it is fairly small.
The service here has always been excellent. Reception are happy to make reservations at restaurants etc.
The bar is adjacent to the reception area, is comfortable, reasonably priced and a nice place to sit and relax after a few hours walking around Seville.
After several stays here we have not had a single cause for complaint, not a top-class luxury hotel but everything works and is good.
Recommended as long as you don't mind the walk into the city. We are planning another trip shortly.

Modern, nicely appointed, quiet rooms. Great breakfast. Really just perfect and a great value (paid 65 euro with two breakfasts, free if you book directly through their website). What more could you want?

Having stayed in the other hotel in the Monte chain in Seville (Monte Carmelo) a couple of years back, I already had some idea of what to expect in this hotel, and it didn't disappoint.

ROOM and AMENITIES: While the lobby, the public areas (restaurant, bar, and breakfast room) had a somewhat tired and old-fashioned look, I found the room modern, sizeable, clean, well-appointed, and quiet. What I liked best was their giving the guests a choice of 3 different types of pillows which can be requested. As I have a neck problem, sleeping in hotels always pose a problem for me as most only have soft pillows. This option was very much welcome, and I give the hotel an extra star for this. Bathroom was clean with the usual amenities. Wifi was free and connection was quite good.

BREAKFAST: The breakfast is slightly expensive at 10 euros each person. The choice is quite varied, the quality good (and yes, they refill the platters often) though this as compared to my previous experience in the other Monte hotel, was somewhat below par.

RESTAURANT: This was the only downside to our stay. We decided to eat at their small restaurant as we were too tired to go out in the cold and look for an open place for a meal. The service was friendly and really nice. Unfortunately, my ravioli was nothing to write home about, and was not properly and evenly heated. I didn't expect much of course (we were the only ones in an otherwise empty room), but it was still a disappointment.

LOCATION: The location is perfect for those traveling in a car as there is a basement parking. The hotel is also easy to find, as directional signs are well indicated coming in from the highway. As to distance from the historical center, it is about a 20-minute walk, and while this is not much of a hassle at daytime, it is a drudge at night after a long day's tour of the sights. Not too encouraging when we wanted to go back to the center for dinner, and not too convenient to return to either for when we wanted to rest at midday.

SERVICE: Friendly and helpful staff. As we were leaving the basement parking we noticed that our car windshield and windows were cleaned (a note left on the windshield also informed us) -- a nice gesture from the hotel which we really appreciated.

All in all, we had a comfortable stay -- those 2 small gestures (pillows and windshield cleaning) brought the hotel up a considerable notch. We will not hesitate to stay there again next time we're in town.

stayed for two nights in twin room, cost 79 euro per night. the hotel has a carpark, cost 10 euro a day and better to book in advance. parking space was difficult to find in the area. the hotel located on the other side of the river from the city centre, it was a good 20 minutes walk each way. it was a very good hotel though, very helpful friendly night shift receptionist, nice spacious room, quiet, clean, excellent shower but left big puddles of water outside bathtub due to movable glass panel on bathtub, good bathroom, have safe in room, free wifi, free internet computer in lobby, a few english channels on tv.

A good modern hotel with all the basic facilities, including a garage which was very useful as parking in the area can be a nightmare. The bedroom was clean and well appointed, with a very adequate bathroom. The staff were excellent, and very helpful regarding local attractions and city information.

The downside. The breakfast is expensive at EUR10 per person if all you want is a roll and coffee, but as there are a number of cafes/bars nearby cheaper options are easily available.

We found our room to be too hot, and switching on the "air conditioning" only produced fan assisted warm air. It did not matter what temperature was selected it was only possible to warm the room further. A helpfull staff member suggested that we turn off the heating/cooling system and open a window. This worked!

In summary, we stayed for four nights and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be near the city centre (15 minutes walk or EUR 6 in a taxi), the Olympic stadium, or the Isla Magica themepark.

We stayed here for four nights on the strength of the tripadvisor reviews, and while it's comfortable enough and comparatively well priced we have some reservations.
Good- good location in triana, convenient walk to city centre and you get to explore a good untouristy part of town with good restaurants and cafes.
- clean, modern bathroom
- cute little bar
- comfortable bed

Bad- our room was right next to the lift, a but annoying getting woken up by it every morning at 7pm
- central heating is on and we were really uncomfortable until we worked out that we could turn it off, which the staff weren't able to tell us
- no natural light
- super expensive clothes washing, 6 euros for a shirt is absurd. Luckily Theres a clothes cleaning shop just up the road at 8 evangelista street, though it took several requests to the hotel staff to find this out.

So, in summary- definitely some good points about staying here, but some annoyances as well.

We wanted a location away from the tourist area and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. It is a 15 min. scenic walk over the bridge to the tourist area. If you are not in the mood to walk you can take the bus, which we did one day. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is wonderful. We were given a quiet room over the courtyard on the first floor. Did not hear a noise during our three night stay. rooms were spotless. The front staff could not have been more helpful. We capped off each night with and adult beverage in the well appointed bar. It was one of the nicer hotels we stayed in. Highly recommend it.

Room Tip: First floor courtyard side
