We were a bit apprehensive staying here after the reviews but found it ideal. Ok it's not in the city centre but it's only a 7 euro taxi ride to the centre. Bus stops around the corner of the hotel and only costs 1.40 ( the driver will give you change). It was no hassle going into the city. We went in twice a couple of times coming back to the hotel for a swim in the fab pool. The pool is amazing . It was fairly quiet around it as it was October . The room was very modern. Yes it's a business hotel but lots of tourists stay. Wifi not brilliant in the rooms but you can get it in the lobby ok. It's no big deal if you are on holiday. Across the road is a football stadium and just near are lots of cafe s and shops if you don't want to go into the city. We got a good deal of room only for 60 euro a night so we were very happy with what we got for the money and had no complaints.

Apart from the location, there aren’t too many negatives about this hotel. There is a bus stop around the corner and it takes just under 15 mins to get into town at a cost of €1.40 (less if you purchase a book of tickets before hand). Our welcome at the hotel was warm and friendly but it did take a while for them to check us in. There are a very lot of rooms on each floor and it was a bit of a maze finding ours from the elevator. The room was small but clean. Bathroom had double sinks, nice. And it had a separate light over the toilet, giving a dim glow which I preferred to the main, bright light. I didn’t use the restaurant nor did I have breakfast there. It was €14 so we just grabbed something when we got into town each day. There is a gym and a sauna, didn’t use either but there is a €3 charge for sauna and you need to pre-book it apparently. Internet is free of charge and we were each given a code upon check in for the wifi which lasted the duration of our stay. Note that if you have more than one gadget, i.e. laptop and ipad, you’ll need a separate code for each.
There’s not much in the immediate area. Hotel is opposite a football stadium and there are a couple of restaurants, bars and grocery store about a 8 min walk away. It cost €25 in a taxi to get to the hotel. We used a taxi as it was night when we arrived but you can also get a bus into town and then another bus to the hotel if you prefer to reach it by public transport. It’s not a bad hotel by any means, just far away from anything, unless you’re going to Seville to watch a match at the stadium opposite, in which case it’d be perfect!

Stayed in the Silken Al-Andalus Palace recently on business. As mentioned by other posters, reception check in is slow. Room was adequate, and clean. Disappointed in the food. Had the buffet dinner after arrival and for €19 it was very average. Breakfast was overpriced and boring. They could easily do better. Ate in the bar on another occasion and the food was much better, but the staff were dis-interested and service was slow. The hotel was fine, but nothing more, the staff and management really need to understand that it's the customer who pays their wages. I am not demanding, but except for the reception staff who were very friendly and overworked, most of the other staff need a good course in customer relations. They could be more interested !! The city makes up for any shortfall. It is very beautiful and a wonderful place to visit. Wish I had more time.

I stayed here for 3 nights and was in Seville for a conference. This hotel is just not good enough. It is a lot of little things that detract from the stay.

First, the location is terrible unless you want to go to the soccer stadium next door. It is about 3km from the city and there are no bars, restaurants, or convenience stores anywhere nearby that I could find.

The WiFi, while free, was very slow and unable to support a Skype video call. Apparently I had a good WiFi connection for the hotel as many of colleagues had to come to the lobby to get a WiFi connection.

All the other extra services were charged for including the safe in the room. The prices were not cheap. I decided not to pay them so did not drink in the hotel bars, eat in their restaurants (except the included breakfast) or use any of the other facilities.

The food at the breakfast buffet was not great and I frequently found plates and cutlery that were dirty having dried egg on them.

The check-in and check-out processes were slow.

All-in-all I wish I had stayed somewhere else. I will not stay here again.

The low cost room is offset by the "extras" such as paying for the safe in the room, towels by the pool, very high price for drinks. We are spoiled as we've been to very nice hotels in the past. This hotel is functional but very average. The gym is a joke for those of you who are looking to work out in the morning.

The hotel is situated outside the city centre. Bus stop is around the corner and bus 34 or 3 will take you in town. The cost of a ticket is Euro 1,40. Make sure to have the exact amount ready. Personally I found the prices in the minibar quite expensive, a little bottle of water is Euro 3.00......... Breakfast is very good, lost of choice.

We got this hotel from Hotwire and it was advertised as being in the city, but in reality it is anything but. This hotel would be great if it was better located. Although there is a bus stop close by, it still takes about 30 minutes to get to all the sites in Seville. The hotel is located in more of a residential area, so there aren't any restaurants around to get a bite. We ended up walking for 30 minutes to find a place to eat. Now we know why the price for this hotel is so low.
