Myself and the Missus had a mid week break here and it's in a pleasant neighbourhood location in the Macarena district with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby as well as an easy bus journey into the centre. We didn't eat here but thoroughly enjoyed the use of the roof top pool and sun deck which was a relaxing end to a hectic day of sight seeing. The down side was the curse of the Italian marble floor with the combination of an inner courtyard layout which reverberated every little noise around the ground floor where we were including the cleaners doing their job at 7am each morning. Sound insulation in the room was non existent as you could hear the conversation of your neighbour well into the night. Overall a good location and nice looking hotel but ruined by poor design with marble floors.

Room Tip: Great for tapas bars in Macarena district.

We slept 2 nights in this hotel (2 adults and one child).
The room was as welcoming as a hospital room (same smell), but it was very quiet.
The breakfast is really awful: nothing typical Spanish except the tomato sauce. It was very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast room is as loud and nice as a school canteen.
When we checked out, we had to get our car ourselves: the valet is just here to show you where your car is parked (2 streets further down). We had to carry our luggage ourselves all the way to the parking garage.
The swimming pool is really small and was crowded.

Firstly on a late nigh arrival we were put in a room with no air con as there appeared to be no power to the controls. Hence we had to get all our stuff together & move rooms. The hotel management must have known the AC wasn't working before we arrived.
When asked for my room number by a waitress at breakfast, i told her & she replied 'thats impossible'. It seems night reception didn't talk to the day staff!
At breakfast the receptacles for muesli & cornflakes were empty & were not refilled in the 5 days we stayed. Having said that there was chocolate covered rice crispier but I don't think anyone ate them, how difficult would it have been to go out & buy some muesli & cornflakes!
The scrambled egg was dry & they frequently ran out of stuff, coffee, ham, croissants etc.
The bottom line is they were disorganised.
The rooms were clean but the cleaners should be told to keep quiet rather than disturbing the guests with their old conversations.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone & in my opinion does not warrant a 4 star rating.

Room Tip: It's OK for a short visit but not more than somewhere to lay your head.

I recently stayed here for 4 nights on a city break. Despite being a good 20minute walk from the main tourist attractions of Seville the area is good with local bars and boutique shops. We arrived before the room was ready (11am) and the staff were very accomodating and useful, they also prioritised our room which was useful. The room (in the new wing) was modern and clean but relatively small and noisy with both the plumbing and doors slamming causing a disturbance and the window over looked a light tunnel and the corridor with no outdoor view. The main issue however was the shower which would randomly flick between luke warm and scolding. I didn't eat in the restaurent so can't comment on the food.

Yes this hotel is situated down a narrow side street. & dont be put off by the the general grubby look to the area. that said we only stayed for 2 days. reception staff were very good, the room we had was big and very modern, we were only B&B so didnt eat in the hotel. the hotel staff were all good, hotel is very clean. the only down side for us was the hotel was too far from the centre of
seville. that said, we found some local bars & resturants. all in all it was ok. we took the city bus tour. which is brilliant, hop on hop off see all the sights. clear blue skies made the trip superb and seville is very pretty, visted the cathedral , which is a must. for a quick spring/summer trip
its one of the best places to vist.

I stayed four nights in April 2013 in Hotel San Gil for a conference I was attending in one of the more 'corporate' five star hotels in Seville. The service at the front desk was excellent, it was really good value and the room was fantastic, overlooking orange trees in the courtyard. It was good to get away from the conference crowd. My wife joined me for the last two days and we had a chance to entertain clients at restaurants recommended by the front desk (good choices) and to walk from the hotel into the centre of Seville. I would certainly book again.

Room Tip: We upgraded to a junior suite on arrival and paid only about 15 Euros more

Not a 4 start Hotel. i stayed here for a week and the rooms were clean, the stuff was also nice. However NEVER do the half pension - for food. ITs not good. They give you only two options everyday and these repeat in the week, Fridays and Mondays menu is almost the same and there is enough food. On our 4rd day eating at the restaurant we found and INSECT on the sup. We call the waiter and she apologise, then another stuff come in and denied the fact there was an insect. We were degusted and I will never eat at this restaurant.
The hotel part is good but don't add b-fast or the meal plan, there are a lot of nice restaurants in the city and are chipper then eating at this hotel. Oh also the insulations is really bad, we could hear everything and barely got a good night sleep over our 7 nights.

Room Tip: Top floor,
