“Very Enjoyable”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

Stayed here for a few days this week with a couple of our friends and thoroughly enjoyed it, A very clean and pleasant place to stay and we could not have chosen a better base for our visit to Seville, especially at the price we paid . A 20 minute stroll into the centre, with plenty of tapas bars and cafes on the way to enjoy. The wifi situation is not a problem to us, we are of the old school, we go away to enjoy ourselves and each others company, so the laptop and mobiles are left at home. Seville is a lovely place to visit and is famous for its culture, architecture and varied night life and the wonderful hospitality of the Andelucian people. Visit some of the tapas bars and ask the waiter to bring you a selection of his choice for you to enjoy, and you will not be dissapointed or ripped off, indeed the opposite, you might get the impression for what you had to eat and drink that they had not charged you enough. One great tapas bar was the Luso Tapas Bar, you will pass it on your way into the City centre. excellent food, drink, service and good manners.
Enjoy your visit to Seville and don't be afraid to go into the Bars of an evening, you will be made most welcome by the locals and you will not feel intimidated in any way. Good Luck and enjoy your stay

Stayed here for six nights in December in a junior suite. The hotel was clean, and the staff for the little interaction we had with them seemed nice. As it was over the Christmas break the hotel was fairly quiet so cannot comment about the various music/show that often seem to be advertised in it. The room was spotlessly clean. Couple of issues - firstly, the lack of wifi in the rooms is unacceptable in this day and age in a four star hotel, indeed the wifi in the hotel seemed limited to the space directly in front of receiption. Although the marble floors in the summer I am sure help keep the place cool, when it rains, or have been washed they are leathal, now this is not the hotels fault, however they could put up signs to state that the surface is slippy (I saw only one such sign over my stay by the fountain in the center). The room we had was a Junior suite, however the television was located in the bedroom, which in my option really missed the point of having a seating area. All that said however, this is a lovely location with lots of local interest and nightlife on your doorstep. I would recommend this hotel to people who like to get away from the tourists without being away from a lively entertainment scene. It is a good 20 minute walk to the centre and indeed I found Seville, with its jumple of streets quite hard to nagivate so this 20 minute walk might be a 40 minute walk on the way back.....but then that was part of the Charm! I have rated this a 3 star, because of the negatives pointed out, however a 3.5 star would probably be fairer if I could.

My money was stolen in the hotel room, no camera in the corridor, and the manager said there is no law said that we have to have camera in the corridor! Come on! Corridor is a public place. There is no internet connection in the room, can't believe it's a four-star hotel, no slippers, no water-boiling pot.the manner of the manager is extremely bad! Rude and impolite! The cleaning staff open the door when we were sleeping! Won't come here for sure

Spent 3 night in San Gil with my girlfriend and was a very good place to stay.
Located in the heart of macarena, just a few metres from the church, this hotel is well located to stay near the center of Sevilla. we suggest to rent a bike (you can ask in the hotel and one of the numerous company will bring you the bikes at the hotel) to have fun in this beautiful city of andalucia that is Sevilla.
The personnel in the hotel is friendly and supportive: thanks Jesus (that's the name of one of the person at the reception) for supporting us with our late requests...
Our room was quite big, silent and confortable. Wifi is available in reception and in the big patio and would have been available a wired connection in room but in our room didn't worked: this was disappointing.
Once a week, on thursday or wednesday if i'm not wrong, there is a dinner in the hotel with a flamenco show but we stayied at the hotel in wrong days.
Prices booked with booking.com were reasonable even if our 2 days extension in the hotel costed a little more...
I'll return surely if I'll come back in Sevilla: hope to find more sun and able to use the swimmingpool on the roof.

We had 4 nites b & b. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds big and comfortable. Room big with all the usual amenities. Prices are very reasonable for rooms... Vino.. Tapas. The macarena district is very nice too... Good local eateries ... Good quality.. Helpful.. And a lot cheaper than in the centre. Only 20 mins pleasant walk from the centre. Close to Basilica macarena which is worth a visit. Very close to the ring road to access the city by bus if you don't fancy the walk... 1.40 Euros to
centre. If you like footie you have the choice of real betis or Seville. Most weekends. Will return to San gil again

Spent 4 nights here and found it perfectly pleasant. It's a 20 bus ride from the centre of town which is a bit of a bore, that said eating locally to the hotel was good and had more of a local feel to it than many of the bars in the city centre.
Wifi only available in reception. We took the option to stay on a B&B basis which I would advise. There aren't a lot of local places supplying breakfast.
only 30 euros for a taxi from the airport so if you're more than one probably worth getting a cab rather than the bus in which we did.

We had a really nice time in this hotel, quiet street in the heart of the Macarena suburb, not too far from the city centre at all. The restaurant serves really good tapas and cheap as well.
Good value for money
Thank you
