This hotel has lots of charm, an open courtyard in the middle of the hotel where you can eat breakfast and dinner, sit out and have a drink. Its also in a nice quiet location. Bedrooms are modern, and have everything you should need. Our window view was a bit strange as we looked into the inside of the hotel but at the same time its cleverly done. We felt it was a good location as when you come out of the hotel turn left then at the end of the road turn right follow the road along and within 5 mins there are many restaurants and bars. Once you get to this square If you follow the road for about 10 mins this will take you to more quaint restaurants that are down side alley ways, personally these restaurants we felt were nicer but obviously more expensive. This is also where they have a department store and shops. The red sightseeing bus is also just a 10 min walk from the hotel. You can buy the red bus tickets from reception or you can buy them right next to the bus stop where the bus departs from. We found a simple little café for breakfast turn right as you come out of the hotel then first left walk down to the cross road and its right in front of you on the corner. The lady spoke good English. They did nice English tea. The cost of a tea and coffee and two toasted large rolls was around 6 euro. We had breakfast in the hotel on our last day which was nice but over priced. The hotel has a swimming pool on the roof and after a day out touring in 40+ heat we spent late afternoon through to early evening laying on sunbeds and cooling off in the pool. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for one night. We were on the ground floor and the room itself was ok, but it was the worst location. It was in the corner right next to the maid service and laundry room so in the morning, it was very noisy with the cleaning staff moving around. It also had a not so good odor. The staff was very nice and accommodating, it just was not a great location for us. We like to walk to the sights and this location was very confusing to locate.

Room Tip: Not on ground floor, in corner next to maid cleaning room!

The entrance door hides a very quaint Spanish hotel with a lovely courtyard just beyond the entrance hall.
On arrival we had to wait a few minutes before we could go to our rooms and were hushed into the courtyard with complimentary drinks.
The rooms were light, fresh and airy, not typical of a traditional Spanish hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was run in a very efficient manner.

The hotel San Gil is a good hotel set in a quiet area of Seville. Our room was well appointed and spacious meeting our expectations fully, although there was no coffee making facilities in the room. The reception was great with pleasant staff. One excellent service was the car parking service, a.though difficult to find a space outside the hotel to offload any luggage. The restaurant was ok but a little soulless. Food well cooked but a little expensive.
All in all a good stay and would be happy to return.

We stayed here for three nights. We asked for a disabled room and this was supplied the room was large with a decent size bathroom (in this case wet room) with plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. The room was cleaned every day towels changed and toiletries replaced as needed. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent with hot, cold, cereal, fruit, pastries
And even cake with unlimited tea, coffee and even Carva.
If you left hungry it was your fault.
The mini fridge was not to badly priced if you where desperate.
And the in room safe is a nice touch.
On the minus side people were very noisy in the courtyard at night and on leaving in the mornings.
The room was in need of some updating. Bedside draws would be better than glass tables.
A kettle would have been nice and more than one channel in English on the tv not hard in this day and age.
The hair dryer had a huge crack in it. Just little things really.
Would I go back?
Possibly
