The hotel's location is great: only 10 minutes from the cathedral. There is also a mini kitchen corner, which is great for snacks and breakfast (fridge, plates, possibility to cook)

The style is a bit old and it looked like an old student room on a old campus, very poor view and decoration but it was confortable and affordable! Free Internet.

There is no parking and we had to park our car in a public parking (15 euros a night).

We stayed at this aparthotel because of a recommendation of our travel agent, who had stayed there before. It's literally one block away from the famous Triana neighborhood and the fantastic night life of Betis street (when walking back from a night out, this is priceless). It's also a block away from the San Telmo bridge. Cross that and you're next to the Torre del Oro and all the main sights, so the location is fantastic.

The place is basic. It's a bed, a bathroom and a small kitchenette with microwave. That's it. There's a TV with the Spanish TDT (Digital TV signal) which, if you hit the audio button you can change to English in some channels when the content is available in that language. Everything worked, but we did have to turn the breaker on for the refrigerator.

(Note to others: Check the breaker box next to the door and make sure everything is on. If you have no water (didn't happen to us), make sure it's turned on. You can do so in the back of the shower and inside the cupboard of the kitchenette).

Everything was relatively clean. The kitchen had a frying pan and a pot with two cooking utensils, a big spoon, and two forks, spoons, knives, and glasses. Also, there were two additional, sterilized glasses in the bathroom. Having a kitchenette was great, though we did have to buy a couple of extras like dishwashing liquid and a sponge. Thankfully, there's a supermarket right across the street from the hotel, so that was easily solved.

(Note: The small fridge will freeze your food if it's on too high a setting and your food is too close to the freezer part.)

The bed wasn't the most comfortable in the world, but it served its purpose. We had a large, single bed and it had only one long pillow which was a bit too flat and not so comfortable, especially for two people. The sofa was quite comfy and overall, for basic accommodations the whole place is quite decent.

(Note: You can sometimes hear noise through the walls or from the street. It wasn't much or annoying, but those who need absolute quiet might be bothered by it. We were on the third floor.)

The bathroom was clean and worked fine. Instead of a toilet roll, they had a sanitary paper dispenser which might seem strange for some people. You can always get some across the street if you prefer. The shower holder was broken, so we had to use the hand shower the entire time, which wasn't a problem, but might annoy some people. The plug selector for shower or bath was also broken, which made it a bit more difficult to pull on the pin for the shower. This wasn't a problem either, but it goes to the basic nature of this place. The maintenance is certainly not fantastic.

The service was fine, though a hit or miss on the friendliness. They did give us maps and direct us to where we wanted to go and even give recommendations, though not always happily. Overall though, the staff served their purpose without any issues, but don't expect the overwhelming friendliness you'll encounter in the rest of the city.

Conclusion: This was a great value for the money. If you don't mind the basic accommodations, the odd little things, and want a great location with a kitchenette at a fantastic price, then this place is certainly for you. For us, it was convenient, it was relatively clean, and served its purpose with its great location and kitchen, but this is certainly NOT for everyone and not a place you necessarily look forward to staying at.

Pros: Location. Kitchenette. Clean. Good heating (winter). Price.
Cons: Maintenance.
Neutral: Comfort.

Room Tip: The higher the better.

It is a shame that this well located place is so filthy and dirty. Rooms are just full of dirt, dust, remains from other customers. Showers and water dont run. And the ladies that make up the rooms dont care. The guy at the reception is so busy directing guests around Seville, he has no time to fix the milions of problems customers complaint about.. Do not book this place. You will regret it.

The Hotel is a dissaster. The light on the room is very... dimmed... like hotel in red district area. the room is average, toilet average. staff is not that helpfull.

The only thing i like from this hotel is the lift. (so funny) and so old.

If you on budget, go ahead. If you have extra money, find other hotel.

Location is not ok, a walking distance from all the tourist spot.

We stayed there a few times, the last one in January. The rooms are small apartments, but with a tiny kichen which we never used. The place is quite and the location very good, in the Triana barrio and not far away (15-20 min by feet) from the city center. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom very clean.
All in all one of the cheapest place we found in Triana and a good hotel if you just look for a place to sleep.

We wanted an affordable place near to the Feria. As my relatives live in Seville, I've never stayed in a hotel in Seville before, so I can't compare it to other hotels in Seville. This time we went with friends, which is why we opted for a hotel.

Resitur is in a great location for the Feria de Abril - one of the closest hotels for that, but also close to the river and lots of bars and a stone's throw from the Torre del Oro and maybe 10 mins walk from the cathedral. It was stupidly expensive for what it offered (I think we paid about €120 or something for the night) - but then everything is stupidly expensive during the Feria week. All we wanted was somewhere to sleep and not too far to walk, and it offered just that.

It also offered a couple cockroaches in our room (we only saw them a couple of times, it wasn't overrun with them, and our friends had none in their room) and virtually nothing usable in the kitchenette - don't expect to use the kitchenette to cook proper food, as there are virtually no utensils to use, some very old pans, and not even a bin. I don't know if the cooker worked, but the fridge was useful for drinks and for yogurts for breakfast.

We were in room 424, which is on the 4th floor and overlooking the back (not Calle Salado). The beds were ok, a bit bouncy, but I slept fine. It is true that it is noisy though, as the doors to the hallway are very thin, you can hear people walking and talking all day and night, and if the people above you wear high heels, you'll hear them too. Having said that, it's no different to staying at my auntie's flat nearby. We both took earplugs and slept fine. There wasn't much noise from the street on the side where we were, and the blinds and curtains were fantastic.

The whole room and bathroom looked very tired (the attached pictures don't really show just how tired the place looked). The place needs a total rehaul. But if all you want is somewhere to lay your head, you don't mind using earplugs if necessary, and you want a great location (I love Triana and Los Remedios, but then maybe I'm a bit biased as that's where my relatives have always lived), and (and this is important!) you can get a really good price on it, then this is a good choice.

If, on the other hand, having a nice hotel experience is also important, don't go here...
