“relaxed environment in a good location”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Took a 4 night break with my wife. We liked the internal spaces and general atmosphere. Did not have dinner but hotel is close to numbers of restaurants. Bar service and breakfast good for the price. Room was reasonable size, clean and well serviced, although my wife found the bed a bit firm. Overall good value, well located and in a quiet, safe residential neighbourhood.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel in Seville and it was wonderful. Very helpful staff, lovely building with several outside courtyards within the hotel itself. Moorish influence with colourful tiling. Twin room was a very good size with extremely comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and large shower room. In a back street and exceptionally quiet yet within a short walk to the Cathedral and other attractions. Plentiful choice of cold and cooked breakfast. You can't beat a Best Western and this was no exception - you won't be disappointed.

We stayed three nights in the smallish hotel in the old part of Sevilla. The location is either a plus or a minus depending on what you want to do and see. We liked walking around the old city but the hotel is a considerable distance from the Cathedral and other tourist sites which are on the Eastern side of Sevilla.

The hotel is in a tiny street and nowhere near public transport apart from buses which are quite complicated. On the other hand walking is fun provided it's not too hot and taxis are relatively cheap.

The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful; no exceptions.

The building is rather old but has been recently renovated; it retains the charm of the old but apart from no WIFI in our room and poor internet service elsewhere, we had everything we needed and could expect from a good quality hotel.

Our bedroom was on the small side with two twin beds pushed together but it was okay.

There are two open courtyards in the hotel. One is used for drinks and the other houses a small restaurant. Both courtyards are charming, especially in the cool of the evening after a hot day.

The restaurant serves a very limited menu but the cost is only 15 Euro for three courses and a drink (beer, wine, soda) so it's not a bad choice if you are not looking for something special. There was also an option to take breakfast and dinner for 20 Euro.

Breakfast was served in a room off the main lobby. There was a good selection of items as you would expect in Spain plus the unusual feature of being able to order a freshly cooked omelette.

This is a good medium price hotel if you want to be in the old section of Sevilla and don't need reliable internet service.

Room Tip: I think a room overlooking a courtyard would be nice.

I stayed here for two nights with my husband at the end of April. We enjoyed out stay here.

GETTING THERE;
We rented a car from Malaga airport and drove to Seville. The hotel was rsther easy to get to, off some main streets and down some cobbled streets. Right next to the hotel is the hotel carpark. So you dont have to worry about parking. Its best to leave the car there for a moment snd check in, as you will need them to park the car for you. Parking is like 16 euros I think.

LOCATION:
Very central 5/10 min walks to the plaza with the wooden mushroom like structure. On that square there was a nice halal restaurant, worth checking out. We did get lost a few times getting back to the hotel, so I suggest you keep the map on you.

INTIAL THOUGHTS,
The hotel lobby is pretty nice, with an indoor courtyard. Check in was straightforward and receptionist helpful giving us a map. They have several lifts in the lobby so dont worry about draggin your bags up the stairs.

ROOM;
First room had a double bed, small-ish room which we didn't mind but we had trouble with the aircon and it didn't work.
After having the maid check our aircon we were then placed in a better, bigger room where the aircon worked.
This room had twin beds that were placed together. We found that getting twin bed rooms are better than double as the room tends to be bigger.

BATHROOM
Alot of reviews I read people always talk about5 the bathroom? This bathroom was nice and clean, had toiletries, a bidet and of courde hot water. I did enjoy my showers.

Super Hotel, good staff, good room and breakfast, but dinner, to say it was poor puts a good shine on it, go out for dinner, despite the breakfast/dinner offer. About 8 euros to the centre of Seville by taxi, in a very interesting area, there is a garage underneath the Hotel.

Good location - nice enough room. Got a great deal on venere.com for 6 nights in the Easter week. Would def recommend it! We didn't have breakfast but lots of places nearby selling with great food and coffee.

Room Tip: Ground floor a bit noisy if you want a lie in!

Very good location near to Alameda de Hercules but also within easy walking distance of the Cathederal and Alcuzar. The Hotel is good value and very comfortable, with a lovely old bar - we appreciated the welcome glass of fino on arrival!
