“On a Narrow one way street”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

We were travelling a large van. Streets are very narrow around the hotel. GPS did take us here without any problems. Had to park the van in the overflow garage which was very secure but a little difficult to negotiate to. Hotel staff escorted you to the parking and was helpful with the oversized vehicle. Breakfast was not included but we choice the dinner and breakfast option for an additional 20 Euros. Rooms were clean. We checked in around 2 pm and while the next morning we checked out and had our luggage held until we collected the car and left at 2pm. We walked to the major attraction in Seville from here. Supper was served in a courtyard with an Orange tree growing in it.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel - its a great location but a little difficult to find. The staff were very helpful and parking is available on site at a moderate cost. The hotel has two lovely open air courtyards - dinner can be taken in one of these, and the tiling and plants make both areas very pleasant.

Room Tip: Some rooms open onto one of the courtyards in the older building - I preferred our more traditional...

Last year we stayed at a Best Western in Madrid and it fitted the bill perfectly, hence thought we would do the same in Seville. We were not disappointed. Just what we wanted and more, a lovely find and would return at the drop of a hat.Funny story we drove up via Malaga and simply couldn't find the hotel despite all the technology on our I Pad. We stopped next to a Taxi my daughter and SILaw jumped out and asked the guy to take them to the hotel and to let the car behind follow. hilarious but it worked. The hotel is hidden away in the heart of a Seville side street - perfect for sight seeing. The hotel Manger personally guided me into the lift that got you to the underground car park. I am now fluent Spanish in left turn right turn stop start!!

This hotel is fun to locate if you have a rental car we ended up following a taxi to show us the way. From the outside you would never guess what awaits inside, the friendly and smiling staff
to the very clean and appointed rooms, just outside our room was an open air courtyard where we picked fresh oranges from the tree. We were there Feb 14 th Valentines day and decided to eat the Valentines dinner that was at 25 euros per person. The meal and the setting was spectacular and very romantic. Parking your car in the underground parking is a interesting
exercise but easily mastered. Easy walking distance to central Seville. The city and its people
where a pleasure to be with and the shopping is great

Room Tip: Rooms near courtyard

Booked this place for a 4night stay after reading reviews but were disappointed with the room. The hotel itself looks beautiful very Moorish however it is not 4star. The first night we found a dead cockroach in the room. The second night a cockroach crawled over me whilst I was sleeping and I couldn't get back to sleep after that. The room and bathroom really needs to be updated, very old fittings. No tea and coffee facilities in the room, you have to go downstairs and use the machine to get your tea and coffee in a polystyrene cup. However the staff were very obliging and moved us to another room when we complained. The hotel is centrally located and close to restaurants and transport. The buffet breakfast was okay, could do with supplying a variety of fresh juices rather than processed. Would not stay here again unless it was refurbished. Staff however were very welcoming and obliging.

This hotel , a 4 star, is great value , it's perfectly positioned , and architecturally with its neo- Moorish tiling makes it a real gem practically and visually . It is in the old city and is a short walking distance to bars and restaurants both popular and rather grand. The great Cathedral and Geralda is further away but still at walking distance .

My wife, adult son and I shared a triple room at this hotel The location, in a charming, cobbled lane in the old town, is marvelous, and the hotel itself, with Moorish tiling and pleasant fountained courtyards, is quite lovely.

The room we checked into on the second floor was, however, definitely too small for a Triple. For some reason, it was assailed by a horde of ants, to combat which the hotel gave us a can of insecticide spray (irritating for my family and somewhat worse for an asthma-prone person like me). The second day, however, they shifted us to a ground floor room around a courtyard. This was extremely spacious and well appointed, with separate sleeping areas for our son and ourselves, and seemed to have been recently refurbished.

The point about this hotel is that it is genuinely a hospitable property, with complementary drinks for arrivals and a whole day free coffee service in the Lobby. I need to pay a compliment to the staff, who were friendly, warm and exceedingly helpful. A special compliment is reserved for the young man on the night desk, whose name I neglected to note.

Room Tip: Room 154, where we stayed, or any of the other refurbished rooms around the ground floor courtyard.
