We loved this hotel especially having just come from noisy Madrid. This hotel is conveniently located, approx 10-15 min walk from all the main sites. Breakfast is absolutely amazing. Staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were very quiet, but nothing fancy but we got a good nights sleep. Do join the 10am walking tour of Seville by 'Feel the City Tours'. They are the best tour that we have been on during our entire Spain trip. Tours are free, tip based only. Guides are wonderful!

Overall, good value for this hotel.

The Becquer was well located and larger than we had anticipated. While it bordered on being a "business type" property there were many things that helped keep it feeling like the small, boutique hotels we usually stay at. We took breakfast once at the pool level on the top of the hotel which was fine as we don't usually eat the large quantities that are available at the larger breakfast buffets. The roof top pool was a nice addition to unwind before we took off again for the evening. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful with all inquiries we had. Parking, which we needed, was convenient and just an elevator ride away. Our room faced the street and had an amazing ironwork/glass enclosure that could be opened at various points to aid in air flow.

Room Tip: The street side provided us with the beautiful iron/glass enclosure that I referred to. I believe it...

We were looking for an affordable hotel with some luxury to it. We could not have been happier with the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious and quiet as we overlooked an inside courtyard. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the city center and to triana for some nightlife. Most of all we loved the rooftop deck. The pool was great and the bar was open at the perfect times. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist with any questions you may have. I recommend visiting La Carboneria for some genuine flamenco for free. All in all I would highly recommend this place!

A very comfortable place to stay. The pool is a huge bonus in Seville.

Only thibg the hotel really misses is a restaurant (they serve breakfast and they have a bar by the pool), but that is actually a smart chouce since there are so many si varied restaurants nearby, so having a clinical snd charmless hotel restaurant in this lication wouldnt benefit anyone

I highly recommend.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room overlooked street, but no problem with traffic noise. Bed really comfortable after busy days. AC didn't keep us awake. Roof terrace drinks not expensive, and very relaxing on hot afternoons. Definately a great hotel to stay and very central for all we wanted to do.
We didn't rate open top bus compared to other cities.

Hotel Becquer was a 4 night stay for us and we found it to be a first rate hotel with excellent friendly and very helpful staff on all matters. Rooms were of a high standard and good size and buffet breakfast extensive. The roof top pool and bar was a real plus in the June climate in Seville. Great views at night of the cathedral. Location whilst not perfect was very good as it was close to the river ( 3 minutes), the shops for retail therapy (6 minutes) and the old town area and gardens (10 minutes) So quite central to the three main areas really.

Overall a great hotel, well located and rates very highly on all fronts.

Room Tip: We choose the "Monumental" room option with free walking tour. The room was great and the...

Clean, spacious rooms. Spotless bath room. Great air conditioning. The staff speaks enough English if you cannot do Spanish...and they are all friendly and helpful.

Free wifi and computers for guests to use off the lobby.

Location is perfect...midway between the Alacazaba and the Pillars of Hercules......three block from the heart of the old city and one block from the river. Places to eat and drink right close by.

The instructions for getting there are spot on and they are three blocks from the main bus terminal.

it's a real find and the price is really good. My place to stay when I go back to Seville
