This hotel is wonderfully atmospheric and yet modern, light-filled and tranquil. We stayed here for three nights and have absolutely no complaints. Admittedly, I was concerned by some of the trip advisor warnings about noise and dark rooms on bottom floors, so we requested a quiet, well-lit room with a window. Our room was far nicer than expected and seemed to also be more spacious than others experienced (the rooms do seem to vary a fair bit in terms of size and noise exposure, so I recommend being very specific when you book. Some mentioned the beds being hard, but to us they were very comfortable....and my husband is usually not a fan of firm mattresses, but said he slept better on that bed than on beds in most hotels.

I can't recall our room number, unfortunately, but I can say that we were on the top floor in a corner room in the newer addition, directly behind the main building. Our room actually had its own little hallway and was quite large, and had a view of the upper part of the cathedral. , The room appeared to be just below the roof restaurant...but the restaurant was closed until April, so there was absolutely no noise drifting down from above.

Hotel staff was welcoming and very helpful. Although we did not book breakfasts in the hotel (it was pricey), we left very early the last AM and they gave us coffee and croissants nevertheless. By the way, there are great, inexpensive breakfast options at the tapas bar on the corner down the block, and also at the little bakery/bar just around the corner from that tapas bar.

we stayed at this hotel for three nights and it was a beautiful hotel but the beds were very uncomfortable. the mattress padding was very thin and you could feel the individual springs digging into your sides. it was really hard to sleep even after we tried switching rooms. unfortuately the beds were equally bad in both rooms. i wouldn't recommend it without a good mattress pad.

Loved it., We were there in Feb, and the roof dining was closed. But a bottle of Red and some cheese and bread and well... Suffice it to say it has amazing view of the Cathedral. The staff seemed happy to see us, and was welcoming even when we showed up way early for check in. That may be due to the Economy, may be because it was February, btu all spoke Emglish and really seemed to want people to like the hotel and the city.,

We stayed here based on the reviews of other trip advisor guests as were very pleasantly surprised. Great location, it is only a short walk from the Giralda, the Alcazahar, the river and the Plaza del Toro. The rooms are fine. Not overly large, but very nice. We had breakfast in the restaurant every morning and found that although it was expensive, it provided a very good base for the day. The front desk is very helpful with suggestions of cute places to visit off the tourist tract. I would recommend Casa Robles for a nice meal or tapas, Casa Anselma in Triana for a great taste of real after hours Seville (don't get there before midnight) and Almanara, a great vegetarian restaurant in the Alameda de Hercules.

Beautiful interior, extremely well situated right in the center of Seville very close to the cathedral and all central attractions. Our main complaint is that our room was situated to the front of the hotel, room 320, and the noise from traffic can be heard throughout the night - garbagge is collected around 1- 2 a.m. etc. The fact that there appears to be double glazing it has no effect at all. It is an absolute shame, because the hotel is very nice, the accomodation is of very good standard and the staff are very helpful. If we will return to the hotel we will insist that we are given a room which is situated to the back or side of the hotel

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our honeymoon. Yes, one night. We stayed in several cities in Spain and Portugal for one night each so that we never had a day trip and a ride home that night. This hotel is in the centre section of Seville of winding, narrow streets and we actually lucked out on our second lap of the city and drove right to it. It is a five-minute walk from the Bull Ring, cathedral, flamenco shows, Real Alcázar, Jewish Quarter and beautiful evening walks along the river.
From the moment we pulled up at the dropoff spot and waved to the doorman, we were in good hands. He told us to just leave our car there and come right in. The lobby is impressive and it turns out that our travel agent's efforts in booking our trip finally paid off. We stayed in thirteen hotels/apartments in four weeks and this was one of the only ones to go the extra mile for us, bumping us into a suite with a rooftop terrace.
The whole property was perfectly clean, the rooftop restaurant/bar has a beautiful view of the cathedral.
They brought us champagne and candies immediately after check-in. The room was nicely appointed and the bath enormous. In fact, the shower had a wood floor installed over the tile floor, which was a very nice touch.
Seville is a beautiful, grand city and we loved it. We found a flamenco show in the Lonely Planet book, but the hotel recommended Arenal and booked it for us. While there did not appear to be a single local in the room, the show was truly impressive! Besides, apparently there are no locals in Seville in the summer. We also recommend Corral de Agua restaurant.

On first glance this hotel seems wonderful. A beautiful lobby area greets you upon your arrival and the front desk was nice and helpful. However, I was a little disappointed in the size of the room and the small bathroom which could have been a little cleaner and the shower flooded the room when used. They have a nice roof top restaurant and bar with a lovely view of the cathedral. However, when we went upstairs for a cocktail at sunset there was no staff there and we had to go downstairs and ask if someone could come upstairs and serve us. They did come up with our drinks, but it is too bad that they didn't encourage using the bar upstairs. Maybe some heaters would help, though we didn't need them ourselves. Convenient location for walking throughout Seville. Skip the very overpriced breakfast and go find a little local spot.
