Staying at this beautiful hotel was the best decision we made in Spain. It is so authentic! The staff is amazing. They were extremely helpful with all of our requests and made our stay most enjoyable. The food and service is impeccable. The rooms are just the right size, decorated with Spanish antiques. The culinary school attached makes it a nice talking point. Love this place!

We had lunch on the cooking school side of the restaurant based on the recommendation of a friend. I took three young college students, and we all loved it! Good value and amazing food. Kind of hard to find, but we had a fun adventure navigating the streets to get there. :)

Impressed form the start. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff was exemplary.

It's a little hard to find, even with GPS. Parked on pavement a little past the hotel as we overshot it. The man on reception came up and took the car and parked it for us, huge relief as already stressed trying to drive through Seville.

The hotel had upgraded us to their Suite as it was out anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. They also offered us a reduced rate on dinner, due to a minor communication error. Room was spacious (suite) and comfortable. Location is excellent for sightseeing.

We ate in their restaurant, as it has quite a reputation, and we not disappointed. Tasting menu was excellent, accompanying wines also. €58pp, well worth it.

Our only concern was that we were stuck in the lift for 20 minutes, ringing the alarm etc, and no one came to rescue us. Eventually another guest heard us shouting. We had forgotten that this was mentioned in a previous review, to our detriment.

Overall experience was a memorable one from the positive side!

Chose this hotel because of its private parking. On arrival the garage door was broken so the receptionist drove with me to show me a local secure public car park - actually €3 cheaper for two nights but a bit of a walk! This level of help was typical - nothing was too much trouble. Only had breakfast in the hotel, which was OK - a personal tray, not buffet. It is a city centre hotel in a terrace of buildings so not every room will have a view; ours [Almeria] had no outside window but a very large stained glass panel overlooking the central courtyard. Aircon was efficient and much needed. Room was smallish but nonetheless comfortable and well appointed. There is a roof terrace with seats/sunbeds that does have a view over the city.

Room Tip: A matter of taste but having no outside window may be claustrophobic to some!

This hotel still pretends to be a four star hotel but at maximum it should be a three star. Different parts of the hotel would need some refreshment and the breakfast which is included in the price is the minimum of the minimum.
